Whats the tyre size for those? Ive been told there is only a 10mm allowance each way so.... 12" = 305mm That means either 295mm or 315mm doesnt it? What would going to 335 size on them do?

Just ordered the Black & Decker Rotary Tool from Argos for £24.95 inc home delivery. Retails normally for £59.99, comes with 87 accessories, and I believe just as good as a Dremel. If in stock and able to pick up, will only cost £19.99. A bargain me thinks

Hi all, bought my 300 last week and so far so good. Only one issue i was hoping someone might be able to help me with. The car came with a turbo timer but for some reason the guy i bought it off had disconnected it. Some of the wires are still connected but there are 3 which are part ofa 3pin connector that arent connected up to the female connector. I have had a look for the other connector it would go into but cant find it. Not sure if anyone will be able to help me but was hoping they might as it does my bloody head in sitting in the car for 1-2 minutes after driving it. Also the turbo timer is fitted on the left side of the steering wheel, but the wires a…

Please dont answer with suggestion of manual convertion. :) Got 3 autoboxes now, I bought 1 box as a spare from a member of club. Also bought 2 others from Traders on this forum. 1st box no drive whatsoever, its been in/out 3 times tried a different T/C I presume this box is ******** 2nd box I put it in drove for a short time less that 200 miles never pushed it always drove tidy, It always seemed to jump alittle too quickly into 2nd gear was ok but never perfect. I lost drive, dropped the gearbox oil was slightly contaminated, flushed it out , replaced oil it drove perfect for a mile or so then died. Could this be Torque convertor problem ?? …

Hi guys Not an expert with cars tbh but im determined to get better with them :) . My Z's idling rough. From cold it does all the normal things then when oil pressure drops and its warm i can hear the engine revs fluttering from about 800rpm it drops revs slightly for a second or two and you see the engine block shake like it going to stall, it then picks up and returns to normal repeating this happens every 30seconds or so. From what its doing id guess its something that regulates the idle revs is playin up - but what that is im not sure. :smash: Could someone give me some pointers or suggestions of what to look for, i.e. sensors to check…

I just got a quote for a zed on a classic policy from Carole Nash £330 Fully comp..... Not bad - but they don't take into consideration my NCB, and I won't earn any. So if I keep my zed for 2 years, I will lose all my NCB? If I transfer over my insurance from my current car it will cost me £500 - but I get to keep and add to my 4 yrs NCB.. is that worth and extra £170/year? My last option is to transfer over my NCB to a mk4 Ford cortina shell I have in my garage. The car is strpped and is the basis for a westfield I am building at the moment... but insurance would cost would be next to nothing - I can keep my NCB going and get the cheap Classic policy. …

Well I have now got some new rims on my Zed, a new clutch and all of the rear suspension parts have been sorted/replaced. The car feels sooooo much tighter, I can't wait for a nice dry day to take it for a good burn. And yes FunkySi it does need a clean! That's going to be my next mod! Thanks to Paul300zx and AndyZ for helping me out with the wheels and clutch (I haven't stalled it yet but I know what you mean!) 17. This is for all you minimalists out there. Here is a cheap and very effective mod for your Zed. Remove your red reflector from both side of the rear bumper, smooth off the raised writing/numbers with a very sharp knife, sand, prime, paint and laquer. Do the same to the stainless steel screws and refix. This will give you an un-interupted line to the rear quater and draws your attention to the lines of the car instead of a red blob in the middle of the bumper! I hope someone out there agrees and decides to follow suite. Time for all us "Less is More" modders to stand up and be counted!!! hehe! Acouple of comparrison pics for ya. Andy

  19. Hi all, I hit a divider curb in the middle of the road the other night. Damaged my alloy quite badly and caused my tire to leak  .... so, need some advice. 1. Where can I get it repaired (preferably in London), and what's the rough cost? 2. I've got small bolts inside the alloy so you can undo all the studs, does that mean it's a split rim? If so would that make it easier to repair? 3. How much you reckon the alloys are worth? in current condition and if i get them repaired? Thanks. snx
