I purchased some creeping crack cure, poured a little in between the seal and bodyword (its like water and finds small gaps, then sets), its worked and the interior of my car has been water free for the last 4 months, this was after trying peanut oil, purchasing new seals and all other types of remedies that never worked !! Now I reckon the bottle has enough in it to do 30 to 40 cars as you only need a tiny amount so if people want the put their name down on this thread I will forward the bottle to the next person with the only condition that they forward it to the next once used, no more wet knee as the water drips in !!

Evening all ,does anyone know if theres any 300zx specialists in wales, in south wales would be even better, no cowboys are touching my baby and by the looks on things iam going to need quite a lot of work done with the engine and gearbox any help would be super duper. Cheers people

Anyone changed a z32 windscreen themselves? my stone chip has turned into a crack and the ebay stuff didnt help no glass cover on insurance!

Can any one help, ive had an alarm fitted on the weekend took it for a drive to work and back today but the auto box will only go in hold mode and is only using 1st and 2nd gear, ive tried to do the diagnostic test but cant get it to work could the alarm guy have done something, blown a fuse or disconected something any ideas would great. Ive been in touch with the alarm fitter and he states there is no way he has done anything to make the gearbox faulty. If it is an electrical fault can i get it sorted by an autoelectrican. I dont think its mechanical theres no noises or bangs coming from the gearbox. Please help

Has anyone ever seen a 1 jz engine fitted in a z32 im sure its been done in japan and oz just cant find any pics .All i found is a fitting kit/ engine /gearbox mount etc for the z32 .I think if i ever killed my vg id fit one of these, bomb proof bottom end and easy to work on .I know there toyotas but there a good engine big power too 500 bhp+ on standard internals .

I saw Two 300zx's one white the other black! either tuesday or wednesday night (29 or 30th July ) around (9pm ish) heading north on the M5 inbetween J22 and J21. I flashed you as you over took me! I was in my LDV Maxus Work van heading to cardiff. Possibly one was Paul's @swz's cars.

hi all have just recently bought an injector second hand (its fine) but had to get a local garage to fit it...can anyone give me an idea of time to do this because this lot are well and truly trying to take me too the cleaners...basically fit the injector (i supplied) some form of repair to its seating ? or possibly its cable in...no parts at all £693!!! a bit stumped as to what to do cheers richhttp://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/smilies/shocked.gif

Might seem a silly question this one - but i was checking my spare tire the other day and realised it was only 15" and wondered is that actually going to work if i put it on my car when all the wheels are 18"'s? it has body kit etc and i can just c it damaging the car if used.

My N/A auto seems to get less lively when hot ! When first up to temp she's lively enough but after a while gets noticeably less responsive :confused: No misfires apparent and quite smooth but not as eager if booted :headvswal Any suggestions ? Cheers Maz.

Hopefully be having my shocks, springs, camber arms etc fitted in the next week or so. My question is this, do I just use the standard top mounts or should I be getting something else?

Hey all My gearbox grinds intermittently going forwards and backwards almost always at low speed in high gear etc. It feels loose and jerky etc etc I'm guessing my synchros are tired. Still changes and all gears work but its noisy and just not very crisp. Lets the whole car down. So what do I do? Z1 do a box delivered to the uk for 2450 dollars. but add fitting and were into close to 2k pounds. Sounds alot for a gearbox?? what about rebuilds any one had any experience of manual rebuilds? or do I roll the dice and go second hand? Cheers guys any advice gratefully recieved.

Noticed a broken wire on a connector at the back central area of my engine bay. Its a 2 pin connector and is orange inside any ideas?

lots of paper and masking tape and caliper cleaned 1 coat of paint more coats of paint lost count how many coats of paint paper removed and pads back in wheel back on and DONE! Massive disks tomorrow and caliper refurb coming soon.
