Does anybody know of anybody that has put a V8 engine in a z32? If so could you please pass on any information you have about their contact details and if possible any information about the conversion itself. Thanks, Dan

After having bought these from Tony Lack:duffer: I now have them fitted. They are cross drilled 355mm discs + hooooge Aston Martin 4 pot Brembos. (Also bear in mind that they are fittted behind 19" alloys:nana2:) Thanks to Sykes Engineering for manufacturing the relocation brackets and spigot rings and also thanks to Kev at Vehicle Services for fitting them:duffer: Stopping performance is awesome and they look absolutely superb.............:hyper: (IMHO of course:D)

As above saw a standard red import zed parked on eastbank st tonight, probably be about 6.30pm. Looked standard except the wheels. It was an L-Reg with a table spoiler. Looked tidy :) Was it you???

Hey guys and girls What is the recomended wheel width on a non wide arch car? Mine has big Ksports calipers and disks so do I definately need 18's or qill 17's do? Cheers

I saw an awsome blue zed with what had to be 19" wheels, 19" wide on the back, high top spoiler, twin rear lights... I passed it on the m25 between j27-28 clockwise, it passed me again in the rain and pulled in and there was so much water coming off those monster wheels i had to pull out again. :) Great car! I was in my white zed Anyone on here???

Hi guys,i have been looking for a 300zx convertible 94 onwards for some time now and found a nice M reg for sale but when i contacted the seller to ask the condition of the car in particular the roof,before viewing,he said there was a small crack in one of the plastic quarter windows and was wondering if any vert owners here have had that problem and if the can be replaced? Was just looking on carzone over here and came across a familiar car, dunno if anybody remembers the grey zed that ricey racer was selling a little while back? Well that zed belonged to my cousin Petey before hand, and here i have just found it being sold in Ireland. Spotted the plate and knew i recognised it, here when i checked it is! Dont know the final price ricey racer sold it for but last price it was up for on here was £2600......it is for sale over here for €7950!! I have been investigating a new crankcase breathing set up that removes the PCV valves and creates vacuum in the crankcase for better performance, this is what I have found out through experimentation and investigation. The Z has a fresh air purge for the crankcase via the front breather pipes, this will only happen when the PCV valves are open and creating enough vacuum in the crankcase to clear it through, when there isnt vacuum and the PCV valves are closed these front pipes re-route a small amount of blowby into the intake as the crankcase pressure has nowhere else to go.The front breather pipes can safely be connected to a breather filter and the connections on …

Hi guys, I have a very worrying issue with my oil pressure guage and im hoping someone may be able to put my mind at rest.:) My N/A 300 usually runs around the 4 mark but recently its been between the 2 and 0 especially on tick over and rarely makes 4 or close to it even when moving. I changed the oil and filter 6 weeks ago for Mobil S semi synth and no signs of rattles or oil starvation but now ive started looking at the gauge its hard not too all the time. Please tell me its not terminal and that is a sender or guage fault coz I cant do with pulling the motor out of a 300zx again....... I really cant:cry: Jase:confused:

Guys, had the car now for 4yrs and to be honest spent a fair amount on her so looking to keep long term. Only thing is shes now done 133K and im wondering how long that engine will keep going for (turbs already change about 5k ago tho). Also the cambelt has only done about 11k, but is now about 4yrs old. 1) Does anyone know roughly how much it costs to replace and how often this should be done? 2) Ive got simple mods really, zorst, air intake, rps flywheel, new stock turbs, rps street clutch. I was toying with the idea of having her boosted slightly and the engine rebuilt...anyone got a rough idea of how much that would cost. i wasnt going for hug…

I have a heater switch for leather seats that i got a few years back. My car is a jap import and had the normal tweed seats in and the electric mirror switch in the center console. Ive looked at the two switches and was wondering if anyone had adapted or could give me some advise on what plug and wiring etc i need to play with. Before i get the magical electrical experiance that you get when you start cutting wires on these zeds LOL:headvswal

I posted this problem up a few weeks ago. Story so far. Car had been sitting for along time due to engine problems. I got car back and brakes started to squeal etc. So i changed pads, renewed fluid and exercised all pistons to make sure none were siezed. All was ok then this last week started again. So once again i copper greased everything!! Pistons exercised again and even grease them but the problem is still there. It doesn't happen on initial drive only after a few miles. If i press the brake pedal slightly it stops, indicating that the pistons are not returning. Just asking before i rebuild the calipers, does the master cylinder play up on these cars. Its onl…

Hi, bit of a funny question this, but how do I find out (without a dyno or go to Santa Pod) if my car is performing as it should? It has no flat spots etc, pulls well, no missfiring etc. Compression is good, burns no oil, uses no water etc etc etc. But, I find myself wondering just how fast it is. Running just over 1 bar of boost, on new NIssmo 555's, JD chip, APexi, single exit pipe with cats. SWB TT manual. Running 19' with 265 on the rear it will spin its wheels, straight line, dry road just by giving it a load of throttle at say from 10-15mph (ie no clutch dumping) Any thoughts from those with a similar setup to give me an idea? Ive had a few problems with my auto box being stuck in hold mode and cant find the problem. Ive just done the ecu diagnostic test and the knock sensor code is coming up, (detonation sensor circuit) would this keep the car in hold mode it wont go into a/t or power mode could this be the problem ?????

Dont post on here much, although i do read alot of the topics, anyway, had a little experience on way home today, was quite pleased, so im going to share :D Me and the father where out for a drive today, on our way home we were overtaken by a rather rude BMW M5 driver, who proceeded to cut infront of us.. Nearly got killed by the Zed today by the zed. Dropped of a lad at home, just pulling away and about 100 meters down teh road there is a slight bend. Only going about 30mph and engine lags. Just as I hit teh apex the bitch kicks her turbos in, the rear wheel light up and im facing the opposite side ditch with a land rover comming strait for me, mannaged to get it back over my side of teh road up the kurb onto teh pavement without dammaging anyone or teh car. Get out teh car, engines still going nuts, yep the breatehr has stuck under the throttle. 12 months, $1000's wasted and it repays me be trying to kill me. I have my zed back :nana2:
