Afternoon all, Just started the car after not using it for a few months everything is fine except, the Crank pulley is shacking :shock: How would this happen as I have not been using the car, does the bolt just need doing up? Hiya. Where can I get some smoked reflectors for the rear bumper? I can only seem to find lights, not reflectors. Also, where can I get what seem to be the OEM side skirts? It seems as though Z centre do not do them!

Any one got a picture of a Zed with a Wings West front on a black car?? Different angles would be good if possible

I've had to stop reading so I can get my plumbing gear out and move the loo next to the pooter! If you're not a member (yet) then just stare at the front page and weep at what you're missing inside.

Heyy Folks happi weekend! I am decided to buy a Tein Flex Coilover System w/EDFC; What I wanted to know is if someone has these can they tell me how they work? some people tell me they are very hard, I most like soft driving but some other folks told me these can also be ajusted for soft drive and also hard drive and also with the EDFC I can lower the car from the inside without having to get off and do it manually... If someone wants to recommend me some other ones I am glad to hear about them! still haven´t made the pruchase but would like to know first you guys opinion! Most important for me is if they will leave the Z hard as a rock? I don´t like that ty…

I'm hoping it won't be too long now till I'm able to buy my first Zed. I've been looking around at ones forsale on the net and was wondering about the whole issue of rust. Is rust generally repairable (I mean properly, so it's as good as new, won't come back in 6 months)? If so what sort of cost is normally involved? Is it feasible to buy a car with some rust and factor in the cost of getting it sorted, or are they generally doomed once it starts to appear? Any advice would be greatfully appreciated Phill

Who on here has fmic and any probs like engine temp spooling ect.

Anyone know a supplier of a good quality silicone replacement for the rubber outlet pipes. i.e. the ones that connect from the engine to the water pipes ? I know I can get the rubber stock ones for $5 each but I'm wondering if there is a stronger alternative ?

I'm hoping to install a HID kit this weekend. Has anyone got the wiring diagram for the relay mod that allows you to flash the high beam leaving the HIDs off.

Hi I'll be in Wichita (US) for 2 weeks from this wednesday. I thought it could be a good chance to pick up some cheap bits for the Zed while Im over there due to the exchange rate. Had the z about 3 weeks and im used to the standard speed now, need just a little more. When i bought the car it had a boost controller in the boot not plugged in. It looks a bit ancient but being hks id imagine it was still able to do the job.

only just got round to it but i would like to say a big big thankyou to DAVEZX he gave up a lot bof his time (weekends) tools, and experiance, to help me fit the new engine in my car , just in time to go down to jae it drove down there faultlessly and back (however we did have a blowout) but without his help this would not have been possible, without sending it to a garage (loads a money). top bloke, and would give his time and help to anyone he could thanks dave also thanks to blackslag (chris) for loan of lift, and hopefully a quick conzult check, when i get time to come round

just noticed brown shite in radiator, ive done a search and it turns out a coolant change is in order. can anyone point me out in the direction of a write up on a radator removal, its the standard jap import (calsonic type) with a calsonic autobox cooler up front. thanks Pete

I think my clutch is on the way out. Could someone provide me with ball park figures of how much it would cost to have repaired (labour & parts) and also how much an upgraded clutch costs?

I might change the engine oil on the zed this weekend its a 91 tt I usually use castrol magnatec and want to use something different? coz I have noisy lifters and I have read on here that the magnatec can make your lifters noisy?? I dont want to spend stupid money on oil as the cars standard apart from stainless but would like something that might ease the lifter noise? Wynns lifter treatment doesent work so hopefully different oil may help? Any advice would be great and how much oil will the engine take??? Cheers.

well got the car back on the road yeasterday and today got a new problem lol got water pourin out from somewhere towards the back of the engine, was no steam or that above only noticed when i stoped at the shops and heard a hissing so looked under and water was pouring out. any ideas so i know where to start tomorrow? cheers
