Hi People, I'm after some advise and help please, after having problems with my car now for more than 3 years, decided to do a clyinder compression test, all right hand clyinders are fine, but the middle left clyinder was less than half, after doing a pressure test all the air was escaping through the exhaust meaning exhaust valve. What type of job is it to remove the head, is it a job i can do at home? If so where can i get the parts from ie head gasket kit, bolts, valves etc? Also is there an detailed online manual with step by step guide and torque settings etc? Thanks Again All Many Regards Andy

Just ordered some 476. I am going to rotary my car sometime over the next week with a bit of light wet sanding in places. Wondering if anyone's used 476? It's the first Collinite product I've ordered. I know it's not going to offer as wet of a look as a glaze, but wondering if it's still good for a similar effect? I understand it's very good wax and its protection lasts for months....on my car, that'll probably be for years! LOL I am sure Peach has used it.

Got a spare plenum and looking to do a water bypass as well as other things when I pull my engine. Ive removed all the hoses and rails etc on the underside as the Plenum pull and water hose bypass procedure states. Just trying to work out how to remove the pipe connectors, as shown in the pics. Do I drill where ive labeled in the pic to remove the pin inside the pipe connectors or is there something else I should do? How do I remove the other pipe connectors, because I cant see how i can drill them out. One other thing, the wires have come out of the connector that plugs into the TPS. Could someone tell me which wire goes where, ie I have three wir…

Ill try and be as specific as i can on this and ive done a search and found nothing. My car has been driving fine, no probs, then the other day i set off quick, the wheels spun, and the car juddered. But after that a sqeaking started, coming from the front somewhere. Not like a suspension creaking, more like a spinning noise. Like something is catching on something spinning. Quiet high pitch. I thought it was a turbo at first, but when i accelerate i can hear it, but when i put the clutch in the sqeaking stops. So my thoughts are its somewhere in the drivetrain, but after the clutch somewhere. Had a new clutch and flywheel last week (fidanza flywheel and rps max). …

Has anyone ever seen this stuff from one of the shopping channels? Well I bought some ages ago to try and did today on my black 4x4 and have to say I'm really impressed. You spray it on and wipe with a microfibre cloth, you then wipe it over with another microfibre cloth and it's leaves a nice wax shine. All this without cleaning the car which I can assure you, my 4x4 was quite dirty. Really impressed!!!! Vijay

I took it for a spin and all was a bit spluttery untill it all got worked back into shape. I did an oil change and all was well. Took it for a 20min drive and all was perfect! Went inside for a couple of hours and ha hoe, go back to my car to nip to tesco and guess what... Try to start her up and the alarm starts going hay-wire, immobilises the car and starts making clicky noises! Ok Im doing some research on fitting: 1. Air/fuel gauge Am i correct in thinking that all i have to do to fit this is to wire in the gauge to the RHS & LHS o2 sensor ecu wires and jobs a gooden? 2. intake charge temp Ive looked around ebay and a few other sources for a intake charge gauge with no luck :( Anyone have one of these fitted and knows where to buy one from? Do both banks need to be probed or just one side? 3. exhaust gas temp Found the gauge i want BUT where do i fit the sensor? nearest to the manifolds i would have thought!! and as above do both sides need to be probed? Thank in advnace guys :D
