Sad day today as my first zed i ever owned was towed away to a breakers yard. This was a 1991 NA which i originally purchased over 17 years ago, but unfortunately wasn't economic to repair due to excessive rust.

  2. Going to start this thread for members to post up what they did each day to there zed. I will start with getting my MOT this morning. So what did you do today on your 300?:cool3:

Came across this Tasty Classics vid on YouTube yesterday rebuilding and restoring an abandoned Zed. Really interesting back story and I’m sure I’ve seen the reg YAZ 9994 on here before . Was it on the Z Centre site as well? Enjoy… CheerZ Steve 😁

  4. Help me clean out 1990 zx NT. Serpentine belt, 3 acc belts, tensioner, idler pulley, fan clutch and water pump need to go. 30k miles. All in good shape. $50.00 and I pay postage.

Hi. I was trying to figure out what body kit my Z32 has as it's nothing like I can find online, and I believe it's a UK-made Paul Bailey Designs kit from the 90s, it seems like these kits have rarely been mentioned anywhere online in the last 20 years, but to my understanding they were sought after back in the day but the man who made them has been unheard of since the 90s. I'm wondering if anyone here knows of these bodykits and if they know anything about what it may be worth? I'm close to parting out the Z due to structural rust issues but lost when it comes to potentially selling the bodywork. Just don't want it to go to waste if/when I give up on this project. I can…

  7. Hello, I have a 1996 twin turbo manual with 64k miles. I recently started having the check engine light come on sometimes and other times it doesn't. When I checked the codes these are what I got : If anyone has had these same codes what did they change to fix the problem. Car runs fine with check engine light on but want to fix issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. P0400 P0136 P1150 P1155

Hello Guys, First, "thanks" to the admins for allowing me to join. Recently, I took delivery of a 1996 300XZ with a LS3 transplant. This car brand is not too new to me, as years ago I owned a '72 240Z with a 350 & 5 speed, modified in "Scarab" fashion. My other toys are British, FORD Motors, Austrian, China doll, and of Italian decent. I'm a major "hands on" DIY'fer with doing most all of my own "wrenching". Ok, so maybe, I should have put all of this in "Profile"? Anyway, first question, how do I add a "signature"? I do this in other forums and it's intuitive in the profile settings portal. Once I figure out the nuances of this site. I'll upload a pic.

I can't believe how quickly the last year went - I dropped my Zed off at the local garage first thing this morning for an MOT and oil change. They called me less than two hours later to say it's all finished - no issues, albeit an advisory for an oil leak. I knew about it, but it's not losing enough to worry about - I'll just wait until I go and see Jimmer next! My Zed is all ready for 2026, with a new MOT and a sump freshly filled with Castrol's finest😁 I definitely have to use the Zed more this year, I didn't even manage 3,000 miles since the last MOT - most unlike me😮 It needs taxing from 1st Feb, so I shall sort that this afternoon!

Just received my 2026 Z-Club calendar - and it would appear that I am Mr February this year. Well my Zed is......😁 Which is quite appropriate, seeing as my birthday is in February, LOL!!

Starting the underside refresh and the suspension bolt that holds the lower end of the shock is rusty and needs replacing (after I’ve cut it off! Can’t imagine it’ll undo) Does anyone have any spare or know of where to get from? They seem rather expensive for a bolt (£70 on Amayama and Torqen!) The part number is 56226M. I don’t mind a non Nissan one but need it to be decent quality

Hi all, just got this z32 tt and there is a Big banging/rattliling noise and vibration at the back when load/boost starts. looking under the rear all bushes seem old, but nothing seems broken, could it be worn subframe bushes or diff bushes? Thinking of maybe selling my Zed. Time and use has been very limited. Just wondering what you guys think the market is like atm for zeds? Obviously had a lot of work done to get it manual, inc brand new 99spec gearbox. Still needs a few cosmetic bits done.

Hey all, Got my Z back in July and have just gotten around to fixing some things up on her. Currently trying to get the airbox out so I can remove the condenser fan, but have been hitting a metaphorical and literal snag in that I can't get this thing out. Anyone know what I could do from here? I'm worried I'll end up breaking even more things if I use more force than I have been...

Hi, I’m considering buying a 300zx, the car looks good in pictures however the owner sent me some pictures of the underneath and something on the frame rail didn’t look right. Please see attached pictures, it’s a one owner car and as I said looks pretty good otherwise. Had 120,000 miles ish. I can’t even tell where this would be on the car as I am not familiar enough with these cars……yet. It’s a long drive to see and pickup. Please help.

This year, we have two cars on display - mine and Jason's (PastorJay). We're going back to basics again, just the cars and some banners - but at least we made it; and we'll definitely make the most of the show. The organisers are also very pleased with us, as we managed to sell 49 tickets using our club discount code, our best year yet by miles! So thanks to everyone who bought a ticket, we're in hall 3, stand 3-050, between the MR2 owners club and the Classic Zed Register. We look forward to seeing you over the weekend.... But for now, some taster pics😉

Hi everyone! I recently bought a project 300zx TT Jap import in pearl white from a salvage auction it has a full Veilside combat bodykit and wheels. I am doing my best to restore it to its original condition however theres some damage to the front end on the nearside and the shell is slightly damaged and a mechanic I've spoken to thinks it wouldn't be able to be pulled completely and would be best to find a shell and weld it onto the current one just before the front strut for the cleanest repair. If anyone has a shell thats undamaged on the front nearside I'd definitely be interested! I'm based in the south west of the UK. I am also in the process of repairing the origin…

Hi, just had grave news about my 1995 Fairlady. Seems that on top of the £8000 of work needed doing, the head gasket needs replacing as gas tests have found poor results in chambers 2 and 4. Anyone want to buy a project. Also got a shed load of spares. Robin
