General Discussions - Non 300ZX

Oh it feels so good to get a knob in my hand, and its so big and shiny i've been rubbing it all afternoon.

Anyone bought/fitted these? Think they go for about £50 - Im thinking of getting one but dont know if its compatible / will fit? Also thinking of getting the titanium F16 gear knob. Just incase anyone has one going cheap ;)

As some of you may know, I'm having to part with my Z to afford the stamp duty on my new house. :( So obviously I'm gonna need something to get me from A-B. Been looking at cheap hot hatches and I'm choosin between these. Saxo VTS Mark1 Golf Gti Mk3 16v Ibiza Gti 16v Mazda MX3 Punto GT I've got upto about £1200 so if any of you have owned or have comments on the above or any other car for that matter please share your valued advice.

Guys, daft question I know , but im in lincolnshire and my digital reception isnt what it should be. THe aerial in the house is pretty new and I have tried tuning my new tv with just the aerial and with a signal booster. What happens is i get most of the channels all the time, but only sometimes can i get the hits, tmf Men and motors and the radio stations. Where I work gets everything and its only a mile away, just wondering if i can find out which way my aerial should be pointing (and try the more scientific way rather than just moving it round until it gets better...) any advice welcome, else i might be in the loft all weekend...

Righty, what colour do you reckon Z's look best in? Dont be biased jsut coz your's is that colour too.... be honest! :D Mine's pearly white.... and i dont really like it much, the sea gulls like crappin on it and all the dirt shows :rant:

Well I decided this year was bodywork time and a couple areas i knew were bad was the dreaded rear arch and a small section of the rear sill. Thanks to Mike at MJP I already had a replacement arch and rear sill section for 1 side so looks like i now need the other. Today I helped the bodyshop strip of the wings west skirts and jack the car up to see how bad things were and fook me, it was bad :( not only has the rear sill section gone, so has the inner and floor section and suspension mounting around it! Thing is curled up out of the way in each side is the drain tube which i think either comes from the back of the targas or the rear hatch and for years these have b…

After a bit of swearing and fitting then realising 3 times i've forgot something its finally on :D T-Pots old bumper has found a new home on the front of mine :D Bit of tidying up to do but its on now and the car looks a hell of a lot better... If anyone's interested on the old one it was brand new in japan, there's no splits or breakage on the old one so its up for sale to anyone looking to buy a bumper to respray. States that 300ZX's should use 10W-30 if ambient temperature is above 0 degrees Fahrenheit in all seasons, 5W-30 if below that during cold weather. Trying to expand my DVD collection and just wondering what people's favourite road films are? I still enjoy watching the Mad Max films as well as the Smokey and the Bandit ones. it was my mates one, even though i beat him i was dissapointed with the zed. basically from stand still his acceleration was faster, i pulled away in thirs and then was gone but still is this normal. i thought the zed would have left him from start to end. is there something wrong with my car. what do you lads reckon.
