Just been cleaning the gaff up a bit  (gotta keep the dump looking sharp for when the mrs comes back from france :D ) and noticed my Isle of Wight sand filled novelty ash tray has some sorta shrub growing in it! Don't quite know how to explain this as its air tight and not a drop of water in it other than the few drops they put in them when they make them to help the sand settle. Anyone else own one of these sand filled ornaments with plantlife growing inside?

My dad is retired these days, so fills his time doing various things. One of which is painting, which he's enjoyed for quite a while now. He is totally self taught, only ever seen programms on the TV and read a few books. See what you think..... Oh yeah, he likes airplanes as well :D

went out yesterday, for the brief moment the sun was out to take some photos. im trying to catch my car in direct sunlight as it looks deep red with golden glitter in it. so i park it in the sun and take a couple of snaps. they looked pretty good on the small screen on the back of the camera but when i put them on the p.c. i was quite disapointed with the pics. you can just see some of the other colours of the paint on the bottom of the bumper but with the naked eye those colours faded out to gold glitter sparkling down the doors before turning to solid red at the back end :headvswal . is there any photographers in the house who can give me a few pointers, be most …

Royal, It was a very very windy day today, all of the guys were called off from working on the beach/foreshore area. Anyway, I dragged myself out of the office to take some pics of it and thought I might aswell take some showing what the waves and that were like. Anyway send me your email address and I will let you see the clips. But ignore my voice as I have a bad cold and loosing it. PS, this is at work (9 miles from Thurso) apparently its 2-3 times worse at Thurso beach. Dave G
