my dopy, stupid, idiotic, docile @#~!!?*%$ of a missus has only gone and binned my headlight inserts with the rubbish down the skip !!!!!!! I took the headlights apart last weekend and cleaned them up and I took out the inserts cause i'm considering getting them chromed or chrome painted - she had a clear out and threw the plastic bag they were in away by mistake with all the other rubbish that I put aside in the shed ( silly me I should have put a label on the bag, thats what she said i should have done !!! ), I went back to the council dump, but needle in a haystack was the reply from the council bloke...... so needless to say i'm pi**ed off...... DOES AN…

as most will know im getting new engine in over the weekend. I have just been told that the rad is also fooked, something else that llewmonster had apparently just had replaced in november before i bought the car :headvswal :rant: :rant: :rant: Cheeky little fooker was on here the 28thj of march, probably laughing his a$$ off :rant: So now i need a new rad as well. My question is . . . The car was an auto TT, this has been converted to a manual, the engine that i am getting is from a manual jap spec (as far as i know that is). So what rad do i need to buy? do i get a j-spec one and will it fit? or must i get a uk one? Also the oil c…

Just received a Tacho interface from the states, so been fitting it only to find that no matter where I set the switches etc. The fooker wouldn't work! So I fitted the clocks I bought a while back (cheers Legrath) and it worked straight away :D -looks like I cooked mine keep trying to hook it up to the dizzy! :o Bummer now tho' as my car is showing 90k miles :wack:

going to look at two lotus esprits today. a 350 sport and a v8 gt model. they belong to a friend of mine who is looking to get rid of one, so im off to see if i will fit in and get a drive. best thing is woman actually likes the things! as i know the guy, i also know they have been looked after since he bought them as new, full history, yearly services, never been in accident etc.. will let you know if a bring a new toy home!

Oh feck.... I pulled out of work the other night and not even 200 yards up the road i saw a flash (yes it was a camera) by the time i looked down - the spedo was about 38 / 40 .... now as im not from the UK ... and still on my international licence - i've heard a few rumours... and want to clear things up... points? will i get point on an international licence.... and apparently when there are 2 flashes its a ticket... but one flash is like a warning..... EEK - im dreading the pst every night i get home!!! :headvswal and i only had my z for exactly 3 nights when that happened! What a fooooooool

Just been cleaning the gaff up a bit :rolleyes: (gotta keep the dump looking sharp for when the mrs comes back from france :D ) and noticed my Isle of Wight sand filled novelty ash tray has some sorta shrub growing in it! :confused: Don't quite know how to explain this as its air tight and not a drop of water in it other than the few drops they put in them when they make them to help the sand settle. Anyone else own one of these sand filled ornaments with plantlife growing inside?

My dad is retired these days, so fills his time doing various things. One of which is painting, which he's enjoyed for quite a while now. He is totally self taught, only ever seen programms on the TV and read a few books. See what you think..... Oh yeah, he likes airplanes as well :D
