i'm thinking of getting some spare tubs and rebuild them, can i have some info. am i right that our turbos are garrett t25 compressor with a t2 turbine. can i put bigger compressor/ turbine wheels in or not. what type of bearing should i put in when i buy a service kit. where can i get the bits i need and who will balance them. thanks

for some reason the glue didnt like this section of the interior trim moulded plastic, might be as there was some gunk on there also from the old glue. so i had to clean it off.. lots of really fookin hot water, bit of glue remover and hey presto it comes up as new.. used a wire wool pad to get the stubborn crap off.. will do a piccy log showing the trim procedure on this and the other bits this time.

Some Club member spent a few hours giving this car a good going over today (including Computer link-up) and I was wondering was your Diagnosis was? I know, I know, the law is the law but come on....... My work mates brother has been pulled this morning by the police in Barnsley for having a slogan on the bottom of he's number plate fined £50 and they followed him home to make sure he didnt use the car on the road again until the slogan was removed (new plates fitted). 3 days to go until the Amsterdam/Germany/Nurburgring trip and my water pump has failed after 3500 miles back on the road. The bearings have gone and there's water gushing out of the end of it. Stripped things down and it looks like the new pump I supplied to Grasshopper wasn't fitted and I've been given someone elses old pump :mac1: There's even 2 screws missing off it that the fan mounts on :rant: Hopefully I've got one on the way for saturday morning so I'll have the day to fit it before getting the ferry on sunday - if all goes to plan... Your prayers would be appreciated! :rofl:
