We all see the huge amount of posts in the help and advice section which I must say has been a huge help when needed but it does make it look like Z's go wrong way too often. So lets see how reliable your Z's are. I'm not talking about things like annoying little squeeks etc I mean things that affect the everyday driving of your car.

  5. I know, a bit of a long shot to put up on here but if you don't ask you'll never know. I'm looking to organise an evening out in "grand style" and require the use of a chauffeur driven Phantom. There are two companies relatively near me (ie West Midlands) who could provide this service but are charging an arm, leg and kidney for the privilege. I was just wondering if anyone knows of a company (or even a well-heeled friend) who could provide this service. This would be for the evening of May 25th and requires a pickup in Warwickshire, drive over to Staffordshire (Litchfield area) and then back again a few hours later. Anyway - just thought I'd ask ... …

Spent the afternoon making up a rough wire armature for the custom dash. Layed up the inside with tape, (which I'll coat with a releasing agent) leaving a few hopefully well sited holes to inject the expanding foam. I'll angle it round to face the driver a bit more before I do though. It should leave me with a good base to sculpt onto, fingers crossed! ;) Still got to make up ones for the passenger screen and the centre channel so they all flow "organically" into one another. Also got to cut back the plastic cowl over the clocks and the plan is to cut out the mountings for the control pods either side and mount them flush to the dash so they don't obscure the view (ideall…

Thanks to Alan for his MASSIVE contribution to Z008 (300zx.co.uk fest), by not only buying the domain http://www.z008.co.uk , but also going to all the effort of designing a proper flash site which I'm sure you will all agree is absolutely AMAZING!!!! To check out Alan's talents, take a look at the link above and see what you think. Also thanks to Alex (_cj_) for allowing us to use a picture of his car :) Once again MASSIVE thanks and keep checking for pictures/updates after the event. We WILL be using this template for next years site  Cheers, Andy (and erm, Saz :D )

We have a contract with Gulf and they charge us 95 RON 90.9p/ltr Selling at 110.9p/ltr DEV 101.9p/ltr Selling at 122.9p/ltr which after tax and what not we get about 1.3p/ltr profit  bloody tax farming government

The European Commission has just announced an agreement whereby English will be the official language of the European Union rather than German, which was the other possibility. * *As part of the negotiations, the British Government conceded that English spelling had some room for improvement and has accepted a 5- year phase-in plan that would become known as "Euro-English". * *In the first year, "s" will replace the soft "c". Sertainly, this will make the sivil servants jump with joy. The hard "c" will be dropped in favour of "k". This should klear up konfusion, and keyboards kan have one less letter. There will be growing publik enthusiasm …

I am currently using Norton 2008 (and have always previously used Norton products and been happy with them) and my subscription is about to expire. I was considering either renewing the 2008 subscription or upgrading to their 360 v2 product. I have read quite a few reviews of the version 1 of the 360 product and how it slows your PC down - I assume v2 has taken care of these problems. My PC is already a bit slower when booting up or shutting down using 2008. What experience of Norton do people have or which other Internet security / anti virus software do people recommend ? Bsically to sum up...I am using XP, I am about to change to a wireless network and I want in…
