General Discussions - Non 300ZX

Hi all going to a wedding at the isle of arran at the weekend then spending the week in scotland, can anyone give me any ideas, landmarks, places to visit [ dont mind traveling ] thanks Mark

Not happy, not too much bothered about stuff that was stolen, laptop, brand new 1 week old digital camera, Wii, 4 remotes, 4 nunchuks, about 16 games mic basically everyting, thing is all the Wii stuff was still in a massive Morisons carrier bag as we got it back off a mate we lent it to a few days ago so it was there and waiting. Also took a load of the Mrs jewelry and other 'ready to hand' bits and bobs. About 1.5k worth in total. They left the PC and monitor etc. LCD TV, DVD, Sky + box and other things so wern't here very long. We are getting married in Aug this year and we have a large tin just for putting money in (£1, £2, £5 and £10) that has approx £250 -…

I'm thinking about tarting up my webs(h)ite a bit and would appreciate some advice on the best (free) development tool available. At the moment it's all done in FrontPage and it shows ! It needs to be something which makes updates easy as keeping on top of all those links is a real drag. What I don't want is super complicated flash stuff with moving graphics and all that cak, but I would be really interested if there was a tool which allowed simultaneous development of both normal (eg PC) and mobile content without doing it all twice. Any recommendations ?

As some of you i was talking to yesterday probably know i was planning to underseal the car today. Was all going well with the petrol tank and rear archers etc done and were jacing up car a littleand took wheel stand out when i hear a really loud hissing noise and the jack is pissing fluid out and the car sinking down. Luckily we managed to get other jack under car in time to stop any great damage. One little dent from jack handle just infront of rear arch and have cleaned off all the fluid that pissed all over paint work . So just a friendly bit of advice, if anyone is looking at buying a jack i'd advice against getting an RAC one. I'm not happy !!! Have used other …

I am thinking of trading in my zed against a 1998 BMW M3 Evo convertable. There is an independant dealer here who will take my '93 TT manual in p/x. Has anyone had an M3 vert? It's the 3.2 six speed model with 321 bhp. In my head, its RWD 300+ bhp so similar to the zed. A proper 4 seater so more space for the kids in the back. It's also a proper soft top instead of my Targas. Waddya fink?

Not sure if this is of much interest to people, but on sunday i showed my car at the CumbriaN RSOC show and here are the pictures. My zed attracted alot of attention (i think it was a refreshing change to the endles rows of pristine cosworths, mk1 and mk2 escorts etc etc lol)

Well it was a fantastic weekend, the hot tub got delivered and installed on saturday so been in that all weekend enjoying the weather. Then even better Man Utd with the premiership again so a few stellas passed my lips yesterday :duffer: Then while bragging to the liverpool fans that i know i put my new mobile phone on the hot tub cover out of the way while were in it and forget its there and shut the cover :smw: An hour later or so i'm wondering where my phone is as ive not have any texts back then it dawns on me so pull the cover back and there it is taking a nice hot bath in my hot tub :cry: Cleaned it off etc but its well and truely knackered :o so…

and well done to Andy and Saz and everyone else involved in organising Z008. I didn't stay for the Sunday but for the time I was there, it seemed like everyone had a brilliant time. I'm glad I went and to those who didn't, its a pity because you missed one hell of an event. SXOC, Japgirls, Skyline owners club, Z club and of course us lot were there, and Danny (DTA) Slick Pete and the Z Club had their little stands :) (have I missed anyone - oops) Awesome weekend thanks to everyone involved :bow: :bow:

On a sunny day like this, I'd love to take the Zed out someplace nice and get some good photos of it...but where?? :confused: So...how about we have a list of recommended spots? (if anyone knows of anywhere within a good distance to S London, let me know!!)
