Looking to upgrade the xnavi system in the Elgrand and Ive been looking at 7'' double din stereos. Came across a Pumkin stereo 1080p etc but wasn't sold on it as there wasn't much info on it. However having come across this, I'm thinking maybe this is the better pick. So far all the newer stereos I've looked at are basically overpriced and it just mirrors whats on your smart phone, why pay a few hundred and still have to use your phone? Pioneer have what I would prefer but at £800 I cant justify it. Navigation is what I really want followed by the ability to play movies either by sd, usb, hdd or dvd and bluetooth. Everything else on it is a bonus. With a nice 10.1'' scree…

Decided to remove the wheels for some detailing and could not resist a picture opportunity of the standard brakes on the M6 , BMW had it just right, powerful as hell but with light foot accuracy, add the dynamic brake assist and they are incredible, seems fitting I guess for a 200 MPH car though ! Does anyone have a Racelogic traction control system installed with the analog control box with the launch button on it? if so can i ask a big favor, is there any chance you can take the back off the control box and see what the rear of the button is like, i want to add the launch button to mine, which if im correct is just a momentary switch. I know i can get the analog control box with the button already on for £65 from racelogic, which would make it a plug and play affair, but if its just a button i need, then i see no point in spending out that much, just for a button. would also need the pin it connects too on the racelogic ECU. This is the same control b…

Wish we could have the fuel prices etc to be able to run one of these. It's going to compete with Ford's Raptor and has a 5 litre turbo'd V8 diesel:thumbup: Nissan's Titan Warrior

Jess got me a Top Gear experience day for my birthday earlier in the year and finally the time has come where I get to do it. I'll be out on the Top Gear track in the morning for a few hot laps on the Kia Cee'd:lol: We set off this morning for the 4 hour drive to the hotel where I've managed to get a good few scenic pics of the Z. Very nice building and grounds that this hotel is on, have to say I'm impressed! One downside however was when I ordered 2 glasses of Red wine and it came to £30!!! Think its safe to say my head will not be sore from the wine in the morning!

I just wanted to say a huge thank you to Jimmer for making a superb cup of tea and taking the time to have a look at my Audi when I popped in to pick up some parts.... She drove beautifully all the way home with loads of grunt...... It took 9 hours round trip after the M4 delays..... but was well worth the drive! It was really nice to meet you today and hopefully we will meet up again sometime... Thank You! Russ

Well despite trying to get the zed back on the road (and it's ended up I need the decats rewelding to fit round the auto box so i've had to put that on hold this year and crack on with something more productive. My other half works from home and it's meant that all my music gear has been stacked up and forgotten in the corner of the spare room which is frustrating. I play bass, guitar and keyboard and i've been dying to get some tracks down but the room is tiny I have spare and it's been taken over by Shel. I also want a better bathroom but the only room that's a better shape than the current one is the room she's in. SO decided to build a garden offic…

So, long before I was semi-permanently sat behind a sewing machine, I had a sort of dream of being big in the music industry. After a couple of covers bands, I decided that it was probably the right time to see what my own songs would sound like with a band behind them. I found myself a drummer and a bassist, we set about rehearsing the hell out of everything for months on end and then, finally, we headed out to dominate the world! Well... Middlesbrough... :pinch: For a couple of years, we generated a bit of a buzz locally but, inevitably, personal politics crept in to the band and we decided to call it a day. Problem was, I still had a rather sizeable song…

So today is Mrs Mondo's birthday and I wanted to get her something a little different. And this is what I decided on: It's a plaster cast of our own hands. A guy locally has just started doing bodycasting so I got him over to ours to take a mold, which he then took away and used to create the above piece of art. It's been finished in a bronze paint with a sealer on top. I had it mounted on a nice oak plinth and also had an engraved brass plaque made. The detail in the casting is astonishing; the texture of the skin is clearly visible and it's a pretty stunning visual! Mrs M seems very happy with it, so mission accomplished. I just thought it…

Julia and I popped out to our local pub for dinner this evening - nothing unusual there - however it turns out we have a small classic car club in the village that I never knew about....! .....And they happened to meet at the pub tonight!! The landlord is a real petrol-head - and he knows I have the Zed - so insisted (well, actually tempted me with beer) to pop outside after we'd finished dinner. And I am pleased we did. They are a nice bunch of folks; an eclectic mix for sure, but it was great to meet everyone and naturally I had to join the club.....
