Julia took the Rav for an MOT today and unfortunately it failed on one tyre having a deep cut on the inside wall. Bloody bad luck as it would be a decent tyre, and not the one that will need replacing very soon...... ....anyway I thought I'd swap it for the spare, just for the MOT, and buy a new one over the weekend. However the damn OEM jack does not extend high enough to get the fooking wheel off the ground:huh: Luckily I found out now, rather than in the event she gets a puncture at some stage....... Richard:angry:

------------------------------------------------------ Car has been recovered :D :D :D :D :D :D Guess what! Just got a call from the police and they found my CAR!!!! ITS A MIRACLE!! It was found on rivenhall Gardens near Epping forest E18 area in a car park next to a house o.O, i am very surprised at how the police did nothing watsoever to secure the car, they just rang me to tell where it was and left it there!!. Unfortunately when i went to pick it up i can see some serious bumper and side wing damage as whoever took it for a joy ride was a new driver. Random but there was a fire extinguisher and a 1.8 carat diamond holder stating a price of £2150:w00t:, ****…

My wife and I are going to London Town for a consultation (£100.00 each) with a view to having our eyes laser corrected. It is a leading guy at Moorfields  Mr Julian Stevens :thumbup1: http://www.moorfields-private.co.uk/Home It might be a bit pricier than a more local clinic but this is our eyes here and I am not scrimping. Expect it might be around 3k each :sweatdrop::sweatdrop: Any other guys had it done? How much you paid? Are you happy? Where did you have it done? Happy to read any comments you wish to divulge

I managed to pull a couple of muscles in my stomach the other day while remove the autobox and engine. I've got a very high pain threshold, so I just carried on working. Well, today I was in the engine bay removing the old HICAS lines and my back went, It took bleeding ages to manage to climb out of the bay and now I'm proper fooked and can't move at all. I slipped a disc a good few years ago so I know what it's like :pinch: The bit that pee's me off is that the weather is great and I could have got loads done, instead I'm in agony and can't move.... :wheelchair:

Anyone else on here do anything to do with thermal imaging? this is what im doing the now at work going round primark stores taking thermal pics of the internals on the electric boards can be quite boring but you would be surprised at some of the reading you get. if any of it is between 60 and 80 degrees its dangerous and gets phoned in straight away and if its over 80 there is a high risk of it melting or going on fire id like to take some pics of the zed just to see what readings it gives here is a few examples BOTTOM OF ONE OF THE DISTRIBUTION BOARDS THE DISPLAY LIGHTING CONTACTOR

Hi all I've beenworking too hard for a while now so decided to get myself out and about. I'm off to Lisbon in 2weeks for 4nights with some mates and then off to Vietnam and Cambodia for most of May. Was just looking for any tips/advice from anyone that's been to these places really. First off, Lisbon - going with 3 other guys and staying in a hostel that's fairly close to the centre (i think!). We haven't had a chance to look into what's hot and what's not there so was wondering whether there are any 'must sees' in terms of sights, culture, food/drink, clubs and nightlife?? Second is the big one to 'Nambodia'! I'm flying into Hanoi with a mate and goin…

Ok any decent legal types here, just popped out to grab some sugar. and when i reversing the car to turn it around, i bumped someone and put a small crease in their rear drivers side wheel arch. Ive left my number, name reg plate and insurance details. But in all fairness. the guy was parked on double yellows in a bloody black car, in a not too well light area, his car was also that small (pug 206) it didnt show up in my rear view mirrors. i see a silver one at out of the drivers side, and another silver one out of the passenger side. Ive taken a photo of his reg plate and also the wing area that clearly shows hes parked on double yellows. Now there is no…

Came into work this morning (1 part of a 4 unit long barn) , run a Van Hire Business, only to find the units have been turned over, Thought i was lucky when i went into mine and found the alarm still active..then to discover the oiks have taken the Cat Exhausts of my 2 Rental Vans, (cost me 2K when it was done 6 months ago) is it a coincidence there is a travellers site 1/2 mile down the lane.. They keep protesting innocence and want a second chance, doesn't help when this happens. Rich ps apologises to any members who are or who are related to Travellers.
