General Discussions - Non 300ZX

Weren't all those spoof posts today hilarious, the way they pushed genuine posts off the front page. Laugh! I nearly started.

It was a red import with a full bodykit on, looked like wings west, and jap style three spoke alloys. It was parked on station road, Earls Barton (northants) just round the corner from my house. The driver looked quite old with white hair;)

Anyone whupped a 350Z yet? Saw one a couple of days ago on the other side of dual-carriageway - by the time I`d got there - the bugger had gone!! It was that shitty bronze colour - I think its the only colour they do them in - kak! Mark

This relates to my last post in the Z-world section. Don't know /not intersted in the z-world thing so made a new topic. The closest I get to a professional mechanic is when I go to get an MOT. After the initial 'what the 'uck have you got here, how old is it , how come there's no rust (import), how the 'uck do you fix anythin in the engine bay,how fast is it', usuaully I get it's passed that'll be £39. But the most interesting point they've made is it's pretty straightforward mechanical wise dare I say it Primeraish. Coming back from meeting a client this morning I was sitting on my private 3-lane test track when I noticed a big sports bike come up behind me, lights blazing. I was sitting on the far right with a back-marker in front of me, when he saw the blue flag he moved over to let me pass. I then cut back in front of him at 90ish and nailed it, well, the bike wasn't gaining, in fact I would say I was pulling away from him slightly, and yes he was trying. I glanced down at an indicated 145, and I know my speedo reads very slow! I backed off and let him pass and with a wave he dissapeared. I installed a front stut brace today. I dont know what people mean by they dont do anything. Made cornering more responsive, the ride is firmer and it works like a huge heat sink as it gets bloody hot. I'm deffo getting a rear one now. When I can afford it :(

I have not seen the film but I dont think there was a 300ZX in it. However, there is a 300ZX engine sound in there and I think they used it for the Supra. Nothing beats the sound of a V engine.
