Spotted three different Zeds this afternoon. Is this a record (meets not included of course)? First one was a dark blue/black one in Shell's car park, Wythenshawe. Second was a silver/white one on the A55 near Chester about 3:45. Third was a black one in Chester city centre about 5:45. Anybody on here??

Well, I've just spent 12 god damn hours installing the new speakers into the Zed. I ordered the Alpine SXE-1725S for the front and SXE-4625S for the rear. They made a mistake and sent me the SXE-1750S for the front which is £30 dearer but , suprise surprise, I won't be returning them. However, these come with separate tweeters so I'll have to make a hole in the door panel for them which I didn't really want to do but since they're 'freebee' I can't complain. Unfortunately, none of these speakers have the same fixing points as the existing- just my bloody luck. I've spent most of the day making MDF spacers for the front. What a pain. So far I've only managed…

No wonder he doesn't like the net. His living obituary follows... :D Jeremy Clarkson With his bounce off the car roof hairstyle and collection of spare tyres, Jeremy Clarkson was always destined to become the wit, raconteur, and personality that he now is. Sadly, with a little more effort on his part, a career path that avoided hackdom for the Rotherham Advertiser, and a slightly more enlightened approach to women's suffrage, this admittedly sharp TV presenter could have instead been quite respected. A firm believer in shouting to get a point across, and a devotee of the Cult of Diana, Clarkson is a man who has spent hour after hour in powerful, spee…

For those new to the whole thing Here(this one has video from the set in SRREA's car) and Here are all the posts and comments along with FAQ. Please go there to have a read and ask questions, as I would like to keep this thread for those who are wanting in to the group buy. The total cost is 90pound and includes delivery to your door and all taxes etc. Only 45 pound (50%) is needed up front though, that is the deposit. The other half will be due 1 month later before your dials are…

finished removing my aiv's this morning :D Only reason I removed them was because they weren't being used with the de-cat pipes on and I didn't like being able to see the two pipes dangling under the car a bit! Of course a write-up on how to do it on twinterbo.net helped! And for the Nelson's out there, I put both of them in a bag then on a pair of scale's - just over 3Kg together James Now to adjust my ride-height :D

I am a new Z owner....bought a 93 UK unmodified TT (Blue). It was a salvage buy needing bumper, wings, ancilliary plastic bits behind the bumper and rear bottom arm & rear steering rack arm. I have managed to source all parts bar front bumper, seems that the breakers yards think that it is OK to fit an import bumper to UK spec....Nissan didn't put the vents on the corners of the bumper for nothing!!! Nissan want £493 for bumper & most breakers want £180-£200 for an import bumper. Jap Parts in teeside have a UK one for £325 + vat.....rather expensive for 2nd hand bumper even if it is UK spec!!! Anyone have any ideas on where to source a bumper? Th…

Found myself on the M26 last night, having had a call for help from my little brother who had broken down. Got down there and from his description, I thought he had possibly spat his cambelt, but further investigation showed no water or oil in the motor. One seized engine sir? certainly! I looked under the car and there was a suspect trail of oil leading from the sump plug (he recently had it serviced...visits will be made). Was in the middle of explaining what was going on to him and his "intellectually challenged" young lady. When talking about where the water had gone, before I could explain she jumps in with "Well, you have been using the window wa…

  23. Sorry to any women on this site, but I am sick to death of hearing the boring argument that women are safer drivers, when 75% of the time where I have to swerve to miss a car or change speed on the motorway because some one is changing lanes without looking, its a woman. Let me give you an example, and I knew she was going to do what she did from the start. I was at a set of traffic lights at a cross roads in town, usually 1 lane each way but there where 2 lanes in my direction, right lane turns right only and the left is straight on and turn left. The lights where on red, I was in the right lane turning right, a women in the left lane wanting to go straigh…

  24. I had the cambelt changed about a week ago, and with that the water and radiator was taken out hence new water and anti freeze. Anyway, we all know that you should check your water levels for a few days after to make sure there where no air pockets. I did check it every day, but sitting in traffic today I noticed the water temp was getting a little high, about 90ºC. It got to 100ºC and I stopped and turned the engine off and checked the water levels again, the 2nd time that day, and poured about half a of water in to top it up. However, my dash water gauge was still showing normal temperature. Imagine if I didnt have that other gauge, I would have been driving round …
