General Discussions - Non 300ZX

What is it with xmas and chocolate, I like the stuff but its getting silly... I fought through the crowds yesterday lunchtime to get some bits from Woolies and was amazed! Almost half the ground floor was chocolate bars, boxes, etc - OMG!! Go and have a look! Its taken over! My mrs is a primary school teacher and every year she is given so much chocolate it is ridiculous! Good for last minute unexpected present giving tho lol ;) This is worse than peas FFS! :slap:

My usual shell garage was closed yesterday so could not get hold of optimax , just up the road is a BP so I put in some of there Ultimate , within 10 mins car is detting at 14.5psi and generally not driving how it normally does, had to turn the boost right down to 12.5 psi to stop detting , what a load of crap not impressed at all.

I seem to have a faulty speed sensor (again). Historically it would work, then fail a minute or two later on would come the red HICAS light. The garage appeared to have fixed it - all was well. Then this moring it beeped once or maybe twice, and then went round to 320+KM and jammed the needle against the stop. Then a minute or so later along comes the old red HICAS light. Stoping and starting seeems to re-set it but then it fails straightaway. The auto box works fine, the other gauges appear to be doing more or less what they are told. So my question - am I correct in assuming that the speed sensor has failed again? Two failures in quick succession …

Went to try out a series 6 RX7 yesterday, and I had some issues trying to get my legs in! All I can say is that Vin Diesel must be a fooking midget!:rolleyes: :D Even with the seat right back, my knees were jammed against the steering wheel, and my elbow was pushed up against the door. Ho hum, scratch that off my Christmas list:rolleyes: However, I did think of an exceptional party game. hi gang made a mistake and took my pride and joy to one these car washes where you line yr car up and it is then guided through , nothing wrong with the wash but the prick who was using the brush smashed a thumb sized hole in my new spoiler where the brake light is located gutted . i drove out stopped the car checked around it and did not see the hole he caused because its underneath so i only noticed it a fortnight later. i,m going to pay him a visit today to see what he says he could deny it so apart from smashing his face in are these emu car washes able to compensate you for doing damage to yr car not happy at all…

Any one know any good makes of alloys. I want 17s and I want 265s on the rear. Any one know any good sites. I have looked at the ZCentre and 90% of the alloys are awful and the ones I dont mind or like are way way too expensive. Any one have any ideas? Stuart
