General Discussions - Non 300ZX

just looked out the window its only snowing hope it settles will get the zed out and try the handling i recon it will handle better on its roof (but i dont want to find out) steve

can anyone help me with basic GUI layout, frames in frames, setting up a grid and aligning stuff etc. I have done some of it in netbeans but need help getting it to look right. If you can help PM or e mail me and i will send you the code and tell you what i want. cheers Paul

Being fitting my new heater matrix over the past few days , what a biatch of a job (dashboard out) I can now understand why it costs so much for a garage to do it , but for the first time this year I have heating in my Zed :dance: :dance: :dance: just in time for the snow to arrive tomorrow :D

spotted a zed and i was following it into grimsby town center at about 5pm you had some girls waving at you it had full big twin stainless exhaust and one of them was bent in. are you on this site if so you should pop round for a cuppa.

Spent most of the morning going up and down the A12 playing with my new Boost Controller (Apexi AVC-R). It's great fun, only wound it up to 1 bar so far as I've been increasing the duty cycle quite slowly. A bit scary doing pulls in 3rd, and whenever I tried it in second I just started fishtailing at around 50mph:eek: Think I'll keep a lower boost level for 1st and 2nd! Unfortunately I only saw an M3 and a supra. M3 tried to pull away a couple of times but failed miserably, and the supra just pulled over :( - no fun

The short version is that there was a harddrive failure, we lost journals on majority of the partitions of the main hdd, We've rebuilt the server and restored from backup and there should be no loss of data. We've also moved over to a faster OS, things should improve. Have fun and sorry for the downtime. MErry xmas :dance:

Well, after watching the top gear race found myself wondering if I still had any of the videos on my PC of the 300zx I used to have. Couldn't find them but did manage to find some old US adverts, I'm no longer a 300 owner and thought if anyone wanted them I will make them available for a while. .Be Warned - its 16.4 mb zipped. 300zx Videos btw, I have not sold out and bought a supra. I'm now driving a 4.6 V8, just wondering where I could fit a turbo or two !!! Anyway, all the best for the future of 300 ownership I had mine for over 6 years and look back with fond memories. BJ

Was looking out of the window at work at my zed, admiring how clean she was looking, when i noticed that she had grown a bigger rear spoiler, and new wheels, and turned into a uk model!!! Then realised I wasnt looking at mine!! another one had parked one space up from mine!!! What a great sight!! So if it was you with the Red UK TT with the private plate, parked on the corner of walsgrave road/ church lane at about 11.30 this morning (X-mas eve), next time, pop your head into motormania and say hello and ill keep the local kids off your dustcaps for ya!!!! :D ;)
