Thought I would take the short cut home last night down some VERY slippy roads. What should have been a 40min journey turned out to be a 2.5hour one after ended up half down an embankmentin a field. THe back just spun round doing 20 mph. Trouble is i managed to hit a small/shrub on way round and as a result we now have a damaged door, side window, sill, front wing and front bumper, not to meantion any damage underneath which cant see yet. How many people think this will write her off?

Right guys, need a bit of your electrickery help. I am after an electronic manual for a 1998 Range Rover 4.6 HSE, a similar manual to what we have on line/ on CD for the 300. I know they exist as the maindealer wants 60 quid plus the vat for one!! Anyone work at a dealers, know someone etc.. I need to take the centre console out of my old fellas as the heating is only working at the windscreen and my feet are feckin freezin in the thing! But bugger me, it aint as easy as working on the 300, everything is hidden and I dont want to push or pull too much in case I break something as it'll be expensive to repair. Failing gettin a manual anyone seen a decent webs…

Hi Guys Just thought id give a update on my car. I finally drove it to the bodyshop today for it to be prep'd. OMG the attention it was getting as i was driving. People where just gazing and trying to figure out what it was. I didnt really push it as the car is really low so that the bodyshop can cut the inner arches as much as possible. After this, time to sort out the engine and make it work like new and give it a clean bill of health. Then back to be sprayed and that should be it. Where looking at Mid Feb it seems to get longer and longer. There are a few bits that need some attention but will be sorted in the bodyshop. Fas

The meet's at 2p.m. So view details with links etc. in Events. Hopefully we'll end up with more than 2 300ZXs!!!! Geoff.

I've got a minidisc unit in my car and its given me 5 years trouble free service until now - Its now started to complain about some minidiscs being 'Blank Disc' status when trying to load it up - They work fine on my recording machine which is also a Sony unit - I've tried a lens cleaner by 3M and just given the lens a rub over with some alcohol but to no avail - is it on its way out or are there any adjustments/repairs that can be done to them that isnt dearer than buying a new unit? Ta.

There was a great thread a couple of months ago where people posted stoopid things they've done. Well I added to my own personal list today, technically it wasn't 100% my fault ;) but it was still funny :d Washed the car last night, that was the 'my fault part', dont wash your car before a frosty night... Went to use it this morning to give it a run out, struggled with the lock on the driv door as it was frozen so got in the passenger door, sat in car with heaters blowing defrosting etc getting late for meeting client, and finally set off. Pulled in to fill up at the Shell garage in Leamington 30mins or so later and both doors were frozen shut!! …

Just thought I'd relate yesterday to you all........ Pulled past a bus on the Hook Road near where I live all ready to give it some right foot and tailgating me - un-noticed up to that point I should ad :nono: - was a police Fiesta. Needless to say he followed me for a while. Thought I'd shake him if I pulled into a garage. No such luck.......pulled in right behind me. Now I'm thinking 'MOT, tax, insurance all ok, wasn't speeding....what does he want' While I'm filling up he's sitting across the forecourt giving me a right evil eye !! My daughter is getting scared at this point - even more so when he circles the forecourt and pulls along side...... "A…

Well, what a f****** s*** t***** t*** w***g xmas it has been. Firstly the Zed is of the road, I got it through the MOT, taxed it for a year and now I still have the water leaking problem which I have discovered leaks mainly when its cold, soo as it gets warm it stops?!??! Must be one of those two rubber pipes to the heater matrix at the back of the engine, but I will let Geoff have another lookski. Also have the fuelling problem along with the passenger headlight issue, must be electrical and linked to the fuelling issue as both happened at once?!?! But anyway, thats annoying but Xmas eve I go out with me (now) Ex and two friends and we end up going nightclubb…

A well - gave a lift to my mob to Destiny in Watford tonight, on the way back I wanted to fill up my car with opti' so I went up through Bushey, Herts. going at a really moderate speed up the high road as a car coming towards me was turning left the car behind him decided to suddenly overtake him - so all I saw was this car hurtling towards me, thank God I reacted quickly and pulled quickly to the left. It really shook me, I went numb afterwards. That's the nearest I can ever remember!!! Stupid F**K*R Geoff.
