As it seems that my Z is not budging due to it's mileage, I have decided to take it back to stock and will be letting it go for £3k  shame really! Therefore, I will be taking my cat back stainless scorpion (Twin Twin ends) off as I have managed to get my hands on a standard system. Hence, if I do do this, who is up for this system. The sound it makes is lurvely! Throaty at low revs and strangly quietens down when the revs climb. Mine is catted so I'm not sure how much difference a decat would make. Oh yeah, and it's a 2+2. They retail at around £650. Was looking for around £300. Provisionally SOLD!

I have a Sigma M30 alarm that is sending me mad. The Zed is parked on my drive, but every time a bus or truck goes past the alarm goes off. Anyone know if there is any way of making the vibration detection less senitive?

Hi Paul Now that I've changed jobs I have a 50 mile round trip to work (until I move, that is..... ;) ) and I didn't want to kill my zed doing that each day. So I've been toying with the idea of selling it and getting a newer car (eg Jag XK8 or Merc CLK), or keeping the Zed and buying another daily driver (say merc SLK - I know :o but at least my wife can drive that too...) question is, as the CLK (older shape - say Y reg) is available in 430 V8 variant, what is it like? BHP, performance etc. Not fussed about fuel economy or running costs (I'm used to the zed..... :D ), just want comfort and decent performance. I don't fancy the 230komp or 320 - too slow ;)…

There is one thing that I've noticed, while looking through all the posts this morning (bored, see other post, http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=35433 ;)) and that is that we seem to be getting some TROLLS. People coming on here specifically to caurse trouble!! They are either just trouble makers, or are already members coming in under a different user name, again just to caurse trouble :xxx: Having just seen a post in Help and Advice

Can any of the systems be removed for more power and still have the car run OK? EGR valve for instance? Front cover of engine (I have 2 brand spanking new variable timing cams under there all shiney) Would have to reposition PTU but that a good tihng anyway. But is there anything else? anything else?

Well I hope this baby is as good as it says on the packet  I now know I am INSANE :slap: THIS IS THE LAST CLUTCH YOU WILL EVER BUY FOR A Z! This clutch will hold at least 1000 HP! You can slip this clutch against your e-brake and make boost sitting still to launch just like an automatic torque converter! It has a fairly stock pedal feel with stock like engagement. It is as smooth as butter! It can also be completely rebuilt. Twin Disc Carbon-Carbon List $2895.00 TT.Net Price $2655.00 PS Big thanks to Smithy for a crackin deal

I have lots of friends on this forum, mates if you will. I have helped lots of those friends and even some I dont know with mechanical work and have recieved the same in return. But, knowing that a man gets judged by the company he keeps, I judge my "mates" as harshly as I judge others, and stand to be judged myself. I dont do sniper work from behind an alias, or ask other peoples questions for them. Nuff said ??
