just been trying to adjust the cruise control kill switch on the brake pedal... what an absolute twatter of a job. Also noticed that when i removed the grey trim under the steering column, attached to it on the onside is a black box that looks like something should plug into it, about the size of a fag packet, but there is nothing plugged into it. kinda strange but looks like it should be there ie orginal fitment., maybe something to do with air bags maybe, mines not got them but nothing to say other parts of it arent there.. any ideas?

I've been investigating emigration to Canada recently and have just found out to my horror that you can't import second hand non US/Canadian cars into Canada unless they are at least 15 years old. So there goes any plans to take my 1993 UK spec Zed. I suppose that storage for 3 years might be an option. Any ideas if any companies do such a thing and how much? The 3 years may be less of an issue than I thought since the Canadians Insurers also penalise new imigrants by treating them as inexperienced drivers, so the immediate insurance would probably have been horrific. Also unlike the civilised world, they don't let you exchange your license but make you take a d…

While I was driving down the M6 the other day, (going a little faster than I should have been) I passed under a bridge only to see a copper on the other side with a radar gun laying in wait. The copper pulled me over, walked up to the car, and with that classic patronizing smirk, asked "Runway too short?" To which I replied, "I'm late for work." To which he asked, "What do you do?" "I'm a rectum stretcher," I responded. The copper was surprised and confused. "A what? A rectum stretcher?? "And just what does a rectum stretcher do?" "Well," I said, "I start by inserting one finger, then I work my way up to two fingers, then three, then four, th…

OK, I've started to replace my spoiler this morning, but as usuall rain stopped play  The removal of the old one went as according to plan as it could of, considering I wasn't sure how it was attached :D First a pic of what it used to look like; Centre trim panel was removed from the inside, followed by the two rubber strips, one down each side. Four bolts held the main part inplace, two of which were hidden under the boot-lid bump-stop rubbers. Two of the holes can be seen in this pic, from the outside; Once this was removed, the centre panel could be removed. This was acheived by un-doing four nuts from the inside of the boot lid, c…

Hi guyz, long time no post. My mate has just bought a Z31 300ZX UK model Auto N/A. He is just outside trying to clean the fuel level sending unit BUT once he has taken the cover plate off the sender unit wont come out! Anyone help? It's different to the OZ one because that one has the sender unit joined to the sender! Also, The intermitant wipers only work when the lights are on! Any ideas? Craig.

Mike, recently I've noticed "Banner #one" and "Banner #two" appearing above the "Rides - Subs - Links - FAQs" buttons. Is it just me and do I need to do anything to get rid of it? It's appearing on all 3 machines I use so I assume it's not a cache issue.. Are we planning on using this space for something? CheerZ Steve :)

I remember reading somewhere the dry weight is 1600KG? Is that right? Whats the weight once petrol, water and oil are in? Is weight reduction in these really worth going for? Im thinking of junking all HICAS system, rear wiper motor and counter balance (already junked spare wheel). Just wondering coz I read the post about how heavy the drivers seat is. Im sure the group has gone down the weight reduction route before. . . . .. Oh yeah, If you were gonna race at the pod or dragstrip would you only half fill your petrol tank? Does anyone know what approx 27 Litres of petrol weighs in Kilos? Thanks
