OK one of you folks out there may be able to shed some light on my thoughts. Smoke is caused through the PCV not working properly. Assuming I have the theory of the PCV system correct, oil (vapor) is transfered from the engine through the system into the throttle bodies via the PCV. Would fitting a can or filter of some kind just befor this stop the oil vapor and therefor stop the plumes of smoke and increase combustion? Did that make sence?

Finally decided it is DEFO going to be Sunday that i go to Billing. Want to get there early and miss all the traffic. What kinda time should i be trying to arrive at? Just dont want to spend ages in a jam after a long drive. Cheers

just been out to fit new fuel lines from smithy removed old filter to replace with nissan oem filter from nissan and its for the z31 its tiny compared to the one i got :mad: phoned them up and they were full of excuses and that they shut in 15mins :rolleyes: so now i have to wait til tomoz to replace the filter when i needed to drive it tonight useless :xxx: i wish i went to halfords even the aprentices would no more than nissan any one else hate nissan uk

Hi I've just bought some rear lights that I'm gonna have a go at clearing the indicators a la 99 spec. But I cant find the write up on how to clear them, you know - the one with the oven lol. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Cheers Pete

Right fellas, im ongoing with my quest to do unique mods to the Z, and one thing that popped to mind today was a side exit exhaust either side of the car just before the rear wheels. Did a bit of hunting about and it seems no one has done this :S No apart from the issue of it hanging low and scraping (but thats nothing new, current rear exits do that all the time) i cant see anything else that might prevent it? Will be shorter, no silencers (yes i love the sound of a Z with a turbo - air zaust), less weight which is always good.. Anyone have any opinions?

Devices which detect speed cameras are to be banned, the Government has revealed. The Department for Transport said it would seek to ban the dashboard devices as soon as possible because of fears motorists were using them to break speed limits without being caught. Thousands of drivers have installed the detectors after a huge rise in the number of speed camera penalties. They have already been banned in many European countries including France and Ireland. Can anyone send me a jpg (or other format) of the z logo. I am having some custom aluminium cut this week (in time for Billing :hyper: ) and want a z cut out of it. The guy wants a graphics file to input as a template in his CAD system. The larger and higher the resolution, the better. Preferably just in 2 colours (fore and back). Thanks Rich
