Hi All - hope everyone is well ;) Remember Soop VS Zed war I ? Well those days are over,I am actually thinking about buying a ZED ! After seeing these two little Beauties im really thinking about it !

Does the fun never stop? :hyper: Ok so I have a couple of questions for you guys after another 100 Miles or so tonight. 1. What brake upgrade in your opinion is best for the car? I would feel a lot better if I had some beter brakes to slow me down ;) 2. Where do you guys buy your tyres from for the standard alloys? :x: 3. How do you stop that goddamn squeaking sound coming from the back :confused: 4. My local Motormania is doing a great deal on a set of 17" Alloys with tyres. What size range is it best to keep. What I mean is I know the rears are wider than the fronts as standard, if these 17" wheels are the same diameter all round will t…

For all those that have the large front brake upgrade,If you get a puncture then your nice yellow space saver wont fit over it :shock: :shock: :shock: So its a can of tyre weld in the boot or some walking boots;)

Just spent a fantastic 5 hours at thor this afternoon to have some bits fitted and a dyno-tune. Just look at the atrocious weather conditions i had to suffer ;) Many thanks to the guys at Thor for their friendly and knowledgable service (and for being patient when i couldnt find the damn place :rolleyes: )

Well i have a contdown conundrum. Just bought a z 7 weeks ago and i love it BUT. Its a n/a auto :cry: An thinking of going to get it made into a manual but its 1500 quid , and am about to spend 1000 on upgrades cam belt etc. But i am now thinking sell this one and get a turbo and start from there. Only thing is that this has les than 50k on it . what to do go turbo or stick with this and make her lovely ( well more lovely) Is there that big a difference in turbo and non ??? Help i am totally cabbaged, and kylie (the car) is on ati depresants.

Just occured to me I don't think that I have ever seen a geniune '99 or '00 spec? Has anyone or does anyone know of one? Ivan

Installed a new cam belt and tensioner yesterday and will be trying it tonight. If it wasn't the belt that's slipped then it's likely the engine is fooked :cry: So which do you think it is? LOL

Picked up my zed 2day :hyper: :hyper: , after nearly 2 weeks and a full head gasket rebuild :dance: :dance: (see here for details- http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=38002 ) she is absolutely flyin.....didnt realise how much power was being lost before the HG's went bang :D :D :D have got to be careful for a week tho :nono: but early signs are that another beaZt has been awakened !!!! one question.. have had an aftermarket oil pressure gauge fitted, when I am driving fairly slowly..(round town etc.) it is about 20-30 psi, on boost it increases to 40, but when am stopped it bobbles about all over the place!! is this normal? also…
