i was coming home from Hastings yesterday and joined the A27 by Lewes...nice section of dual carriage all the way to Worthing...with a group of speed freaks all together there was 6 of us trying to outgun each other for around 10-12 miles My stock 300 AC Cobra...not a kit but the real mcoy! New Crossfire XJR XKR Audi TT Made quite a nice end to the day as after the Cobra peeled off i got the better of the Jags, the Audi and Crossfire weren't even close anyone else had similar fun recently?

Why is the 300 called 300zx is it cos of the 300bhp or is it cos of the 3.0 engine. Pointless i know but always wondered, cos if it's cos of the Bhp most of us should rename our cars

I'm seriously considering moving oop north! So questions for all you Hovis eating, Yorkshire puds for desert, with jam on top! What salary difference could I drop to keep the same standard of living in rip off Surrey? Lets say 50K here would be the equivalent of what in the North East/West?

I've paid my £20 and am a full member now  I've stuck a couple of pics of my car in the 'rides' section if anyone's interested. (I've since changed the front numberplate to a import-style one). Also, what powers do I have on the forum now I'm fully paid up? I'm keen to 'boss' the place and muscle in on the snout racket. ;)

I decided to wander over to GTROC the other day as I needed some info on Skyline lights. http://www.gtr.co.uk/forum/upload/showthread.php?t=27002 Apart from a couple of decent guys they haven't exactly been falling over themselves to help with what is a fairly simple question! I get a distinct, "Yer not from round here ar ya boy?" atmosphere. You can almost hear the twang of a distant banjo...;) Anyway, would anyone on here be able to find out the sizes for R33/R34 rear lights? Cheers, Leigh.

After some impromptu modifying by a Fiat Punto on Sunday, the rear of my Zed needs some major work. :( Looking on the bright side, this is the perfect time to sort my tail lights out.:D Was wondering if people wouldn't mind posting pics of their fiat/"lambo"/LED conversions as I don't think I'm alone in thinking it would be interesting to see a side by side comparison, both from a "looks" point of view and for size (I mean, how much actually bigger are the lambo lights compared to the Fiat units?). Maybe a shot straight on of the whole back end, a close-up and a three-quarters view? Would be really appreciated guys :) Cheers, Leigh.

Well - had a phone call from the guy who bought my Zed (I have urged him to join here). Well he told me he had a problem with one of the cylinders - apparently a spark plug broke off and damaged it -so its down on compression. God knows how that happened, new plugs were put in when I bought the car. Poor guy - he's been quoted £800 for the repair job. geoff.

Guys, I thought about this the other day. Last year I had a new torque convertor and Gearbox supplied and fitted by VMTP, excellent it was, but now, it seems as though the Torque Convertor is getting noisy?!? Well the noise is coming from that area anyway? Its going back to VMTP on the 1st of October.... Back to my point, The auto box needs an ECU, Oil Cooler, Oil pump etc etc etc etc whereas the Manwell box just needs a clutch, release bearing, plate or am I missing something? It just seems that the Auto box has so many things that can go wrong with it when the manwell is dead simple....It also seems that the manwell gives u better fuel economy and …
