General Discussions - Non 300ZX

Had a look at an N/A today- but it was just not as good as my old one. Now I realise what a total idiot I was to let that one go. I think there is a LOAD of dross out there, and only a few good ones left. It was pretty loud (but stock knackered exhaust), and when I drove it it just didn't feel right. It felt a bit juddery at all speeds, kind of like there was a slight vibration all the time. Is this likely to be the centre bearing or prop shaft? It didn't feel particularly smooth to me, but I'm almost forgetting what a good one feels to drive now. Someone sell me a good one!! Been slowly changing my vacuum hosing on my car as I have a boost issue. Today i changed the 2 little ones that go into the bottom of the throttle bodies, on on passenger side goes to front of car and driverside one is really short. Took her for a spin, aftermarket guage still shows 0.8bar but the stock guage no goes off scale. This isnt the wow though, the wow was everything felt light and responsive, the steering was lighter (very light to be exact) and the throttle didnt feel like it pushing through mud like it normally does. car went in today for its rebuild !!! YAY :dance: having forged pistons , 3 way valve job , unorthadox underdrive pulley and bottom end balanced , should kick ass especially as its already got bigger turbo's and 555's and greddy intercoolers and rps clutch already done recently.Also having front bushes changed, my koyo rad put in with its new bracket and also new injector connectors going on. cant think of anything else left to change!! as ive done almost everything i think LOL or have i :cool: musst get round to the body work one day but hey , that dosent make it go faster !! why spend a grand on bodywork when u can invest it in making the car go quicker. :dance:

Right guys 'n gals, thats me done for a week and half :D Won't be on tonight, working tomorrow morning (so may pop in for a little bit), prob wont be on tomorrow night, as I'll be busy sorting stuff out, then off to Karens on Sunday, so won't be on then either. I have recently bought an X-BOX for my kids, but with them having a PS2 in their bedroom also, is it possible to get a dual scart socket that both PS2/X-BOX can be plugged into so that both are connected to tv at the same time and either can be played without the usual pulling out of the telly to swap scart sockets, plus so I can get my tv downstairs back as the x-box is plugged into it just now.
