Well as i'm sure you are aware I am having problems re-insuring my car and I have now had to sell it :( (still for sale if anyone is interested) so i have been looking at different cars to replace it with for very cheap. So the question is do any of you own / have you ever owned any of these cars, if so can u tell me whether or not its worth buying one? Vauxhall Cavvie 1.6 Nissan primera (around J reg) VW Passat (around J reg) Audi 80 MK3 fiesta Escort (around K reg) Also any other suggestions? Cheap cars with small engines but large enough for me, my girlfriend and my new born son? When i say cheap i mean around £500 or less for the motor!! Chee…

Gave them a call about my insurance dilema and spoke to a senior advisor on saturday (open on sundays - impressive!) and managed to get my quote down to £1050.99 which ain't too bad (see thread "Should I declare....") considering. Trinity - any idea why driving without insurance is such a high grade endorsement. It technically doesn't make me any more of a risk and i did a quote out of interest - if it had been a drink driving ban it would be the same price as what i got now!!! :headvswal

Good evening all, Just like to say hello, im new to Z's Searched long and hard and have found myself a nice swb tt manual targa in black, the car has exhausts, afr, boost control, a few guages, induction and dump valve, running max 1 bar, rolling road printout here says 309 @ wheels at 1 bar. Done by some firm in manchester, 1 uk owner for last 3.5 years. G reddy body kit and 18" rims. Paid 6450 for this beast full mega history, grade 5 car, 52k miles. nice to meet you all fella's, any hints tips or advice appreciated. thanks Glen

As the zed's still bust I've bought a second car as a spare. Got an Astra 2.0 sport for £850. The zed is on my own personal insurance. If I register the astra in my company's name, can I drive it third party on my existing insurance? I am allowed to drive cars not owned by myself. Or does the astra have to be insured separately? Somebody told me my third party cover for other people's cars only applies if the other car has its own insurance policy in place.

Anyone on here crashed their car in Stafford today? Just seen one completely smashed to **** on a low loader. Was black, not sure of VRN but it looked pretty stock, original alloys etc. Hope whoever was on it was OK, looked like they might not be :( I'm guessing it was in stafford as the Zed was on a Davies Motors of Stafford truck. If it was you hope you and any passengers are OK.

Good old russel grunt.... my stars for this month had something along the lines of: "a hobby or project that you have invested a lot of money in will finally start to reward you" sounds like the zed is finally going to start behaving itself this month!!! :D

Anyone follow it? It's got a LOT better in recent years, we watched a fight last night for the title between Tito Ortiz and "the most dangerous man in the world" Ken Shamrock. All I can say is WOW. This was a lot more entertaining (for me) as it was a lot of stand up fighting, not going to ground straight away, I tell you Ken has the heart of a Lion staying in for as long as he did, if you ever get a chance to watch it, do, as it will show you why I love this sport so much. Amazing respect shown at the end of the fight, really showed class. The rest of the card was excellent too, there was a great tap out earlier on, in a kind of keylock/armbar move, had the guy tapp…

Ive actually decided to have some new exhausts on my car this morning. and have purchased two ashley 5 inch back boxes with rolled ends when they were held up against the car they looked ace so I said go ahead but now Im so dissapointed as when theyre fitted to the car. they stick out to much at the back and look a bit OTT IM sure if they were tucked under the bumper more or shortened they would look ace.. Only problem being theres no more room behind the bends in the rear exhaust, so it looks like removing the stainless steel tail pipe and shortening it a couple of inches then having it rewelded.. Hi there does anyone have a hks afr controller fitted ? If so can you tell me what the appx reading should be if you turn the knob on the far left, I moved it a fraction by accident when changing boost setting, so I turned it back to where is was but can somone help ? its at 49% I think
