just spent all morning building some car ramps, as its too low to get up normal ramps. got some scaffold boards,cut them at an angle on one end,each one longer as i went along. nailed them on top of each other there great,can get right under the car now. the only time ive seen under my car was when i took it down to jeff (z world) actually he said it was one of the best he had seen underneath. i guess thats what you get with a jap motor,as they dont have the snow,rain and bloody salt that we have here. well chuffed now :dance: :dance:

Before I possibly waste £60 odd quid on a new remote fob, is there anyway of testing my old one for signal strength? At times I can stand there for 5 mins trying to get the alarm to arm/dissarm and at other times it will work straight away. I just would like to know if it's the fob or alarm itself. Cheers Vijay

This is a mission to be able to get all of the parts in time to continue onto the next stage! so far Im stumped ordered my pistons a couple of months ago, when they come through they was the wrong size so had to go back :headvswal since then I have been waiting for them, which has caused the whole rebuild to come to a stop, the pistons have currantly done more milage than they will ever do in the car! they have gone back and forth to america due to customs :mac1: Looked on the tracking data today and was told they are in transit for a delivery today, took the day off and they never showed up :confused: Soon as they arrive I will be taking them to peter at SE…

Hi Guys I currently have a Mongoose system and obviously the sound is quite deep bar a nice little horse snort when the engines switched off :p but I think generally it lacks character, I,ve got to say I would prefer a higher pitched sound over the lower tone, I read an item a short while ago, the writer said whilst test driving the new Ferrari he had started the car and was suprised how the car sounded like it was ticking over at 3000rpm but was actually only doing around 950rpm!, well to me this can only be the pitch and not the revolutions ascociated with hi revs in formula 1. Putting in a secure web proxy solution for a customer at the moment, all going fine, got a bit of a problem with MSN messenger though, need to know exactly what servers (or just the root domain of the servers) it connects to so we can add them into a set of sites allowed without authentication... I dont know crap about messenger but Im assuming the clients all connect to a bunch of servers centrally which maintain all the free/busy data and buddy lists etc.... if im barking up the wrong tree and its a…

really thinking of buying a ps2 just for this game. I got a fully modded xbox already and see you can get a hdd for the ps2. couple of quick questions if you dont mind. does the hdd plug into your pc and you connect over ethernet to play games from it? Chipping - has anyone had it done. I aint got a prob buying gt4 but some of the older games Im not fussed about. Does the swap disk trick work? Is there a particular ps2 to avoid? Cheers

Took my car over to Ryan at ztech to get the cambelt done today, and I must say the service was excellent, dropped the car off in the morning and he took me down to Swindon town centre , where I amused myself with some shopping and a nice lunch in a cafe, before a call in the afternoon to say the car was ready , I was then collected and whisked back to the workshop where I collected my beasty all ready for the long drive home. I'd just like to report what could possibly be the Uk's first successful copy of a greddy profec E-01 SD card. A big "kiss my ring" goes to Greddy USA and TRUST who dont sell the cards seperately and in order to fix my corrupt sd card would have either meant buying a new profec,or having to sent it back to Japan to get it reflashed which would have taken quite a few weeks. :hyper: :hyper: :hyper: :hyper: :hyper: :hyper: :hyper: :hyper:
