As you know the replacement for our beloved 300zx was launched by Renault/Nissan as the 350z, but can you design a true successor to the 300zx? You dont need to be a Photoshop wizard, just draw it on some paper and take a photo. Would be interesting to see what people come up with. Just a bit of fun in case you may be bored.

Without naming any names, 'cos that's not the point, I just wanna warn other less technically minded/mechanically able owners like myself to be very aware of what is actually being done to their pride and joy when it's in a garage. The case in point is this :- I managed to get hold of a set of Megan Racing decats and divorced wastegate downpipes from the states, and had a look at fitting them myself - but took one look underneath and thought better of it. So, I took my Z to a local 'reputable' specialist who duly did the work for me. Firstly, although initially satisfied, I noticed a couple of days later that the whole exhaust system was a bit wonky and was rubbing…

Me and the zed have been together for 2 years next Tuesday and what a great two years it has been! She has been very reliable and lots of fun :) So I thought I would buy her a few gifts to keep her happy for another couple of years:- 60,000 MileTiming Belt Kit. NGK Spark Plugs Stillen Lower Radiator Hose Goodridge 300ZX Stainless Steel Brakelines Oh, I was sent a nismo thermostat by mistake, are they recomended for the 300? I may put it up for sale as a standard one came with the belt kit. :)

OK....I have eventually come to the deccision that after 26yrs i think i may be a few slices short of a loaf. When i payed my Zedtonians for my new Z i never knew it had aircon untill i took my Z to Baggins who pointed it out and..yes...i felt stupid. Now this next episode is even better.... Took my Z for MOT today and it failed on rear fog light...Just couldnt get it to work. Tried the bulb....wasn't the bulb :nono: Tried the fuse....wasn't the fuse :nono: Tried finding a positive feed....wasn't a positive feed :nono: Strange thing was the light on the switch came on but no power to the lead :confused: So the MOT place failed it on no rear…

:p here's some i prepared earlier :p polished them at work last week, got tennis elbow from all that rubbing LOL!! i dont think my camera phone does them justice though looks great close up!

OK...whos old enough and wise enough to have a guestimate please.... as above...lookin to import single item...fairly small....usually get away without paying it but if made to pay then what would i expect to fork out? Delivery all ready paid for so dont include this as an add on. Thanks :bow:

Baynzee, what make and type of alloys are those pictured on your black 300zx as i have been looking at various alloys, chrome spinners etc for mine but those really suit the car. If poss please can you post a link to a site with the alloys on with price etc. Cheers. :dance: :dance: :dance:

Installing a blitz turbo timer, using my razo turbo timer harness and some guess work. took me ages as i could not get it to work properly untill i worked out that the purple wire that is supposed to go to the handbrake can be earthed. Now it works and i have a digital boost guage too. so if anybody want my old tim mechanical boost guage make me an ogger.

SLR is yummy, tho the bonnet looks huge! wondered if the ford capri designers had anything to do with it :D the Maybach is just fooking hoooooooooooooooooge!! it has 2 calipers on each front brake disk that just about fit under its 19" rims, guess you need some decent brakes to stop a 3 1/2 ton motor!!
