  1. Quick question. I know that side repeators are needed for the MOT but are they a legal requirement on the road? Would the cops have reason to pull me if I drove without them (they've been removed and smoothed over)? Cheers, Leigh.

3 days ago i decided to try and resurect my blitz type3 split rim's which were looking sorry for themselves after winters salt abuse. Autosol didn't make a dent so i bought some new meguair's next gen metal polish. This stuff is the shit! Makes autosol look like fairy liquid. Highly recommended to all. My rim's are back to the mirror finish that they should be. Ate it!

Well nearly kissed my arse goodbye tonight, result of ****ing around with open powersupplies - electrical burns to one hand, laceration to the other, my breaker didn't trip either which concerns me, its set to 30miliamps, I think i may have discharged a large capacitor across my hands whilst it was plugged into the mains, stupid i know, but its something i've done 100's of times, next time i'll be more careful. 1st electric shock though, perked me up a bit :D, and at least all the kit still works lol

ie. what's a good bike to get once I pass it? I'm looking for; Comfort for rider and pillion (the wife) Reliability (as I know nothing about motorbikes) Looks Not that fussed about it being the fastest and nimblest out there (although a healthy dose of power would be nice), not worried about what year, and am looking to spend around 2 - 3k I was looking at a Suzuki Bandit 600 (unfaired) CBR 600F or Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R Out of all of these I'm liking the Bandit, it will only be used for short journeys, so not worried about the fairing too much, I think it looks better without personally. My heart says a Ninja as I've always wanted one, but they don'…

Blitz induction kit arrived yesterday - thanks to chris@getreddy. Not sure about the japanese instructions though, lucky I have had a lot of advice from you guys and the technical site. Cheers to all. Weather is supposed to be nice this weekend, let me think, shall I spend saturday at Lakeside with the other half or bending over the engine fixing the new toy  ....... Not really a difficult decision.

I've finally found the fault with my Zed :D For those who don't know, I've had a running problem with my Zed for some time now. Basically, when you press your foot down to get some 'Humpty' out of it, it just coughs and splutters! You have to back your foot off a bit and increase gentley (hardley any point in owning a Zed if you have to do that all the time). Then once its really warmed up it's very lumpy on idle (10 out of 10 for technical wording ;) ) The solution...... Today I've been fitting my new shiney Cam cover, Throttle cover and Coilpack bolts. When I got to the coilpack ones, i decided to take the pack out and check the spark plug at the same time. …

Morning boys and girls :D I popped in last night for a read of posts, bloody hell!!! 9 pages I went through, and that was just General!! Well, I'm all bronzed now  It was quite hot over there, 38 most days. Didn't see any Zeds, plenty of wrecks though :D, sorry I mean taxis ;) We saw some local guy get knocked off his moped by a bus. Police just stand around and look busy, untill the army turned up and just moved the moped, and then everyone just left, the guy had gone to hospital by that time (well we assumed he went to a hospital, but you never know over there, could have gone to someones home for all we know ;) ) For those who want to know what E…

  23. Just spotted this regarding the new V5C form which is replacing the current V5. http://www.realclassic.co.uk/opinionfiles/opinion04021600.html I'm pissed right off with all this. I think we need a national protest for this more than we do for speed cameras. It just goes to show that if they can get away with introducing a small piece of legislation i.e. SORN, then they think they can take over our basic human rights. FFS if I owned a car since 1973 and had it in my garage ever since, what the fook is it to do with them, it's MY car and it's NOT on their land.
