Just wanted to post a message to say thanks very muchly to Bob over at Safe and Sounds in Chester. He has spent the last week tinkering with my 'big red shed' (thats what the missus calls it), and getting it running properly after weeks of me tearing my hair out trying to do the same myself. This in addition to sorting me out with a letter for my insurers about my CAT1 alarm system a few weeks ago. It now works! the ignition is working properly now (the engine will switch off with the key rather than me popping the bonnet and yanking fuses). As well as this he fitted some new spark plugs that I bought, repaired my PTU and put the interior back together which was …

  3. A few days ago, when it was nice and sunny, the roof was off the car and I pulled up into the local shopping presinct (bad spelling :() to get a few things from the shop. There where only a few cars parked up and I pulled up with the closest car being a people carrier a few parking speaces away. I got out the car and I saw a couple carrying a boy of about 2 years old, walking towards the the people carrier with the dad saying to the boy "Are we going to get in the car?" trying to make a game of it. The young boy looked at my car leaned forward with both arm out towared the Z and said "That one, daddy I want to go in that one" They lad had taste ;)

Although I quite like the interior of the Zed I've been toying with the idea of re-modelling the interior for a while now, possibly putting my arty-farty skills into action and sculpting a new dash, doorcards, rear install etc. It's kind of got me thinking: what makes a good interior? What does everyone reckon? What's your favorite car interior and why? If you've got pics, post 'em. I'm interested in what aspects of the design (either already in the Zed or in another car) that make it stand out for you. On the flip side of things, is there anything that you really hate? Post up your thoughts folks...;) Cheers, Leigh.

  18. Is there available, or would it be possible/viable/costeffective to produce, a fully wrap-around wing and bumper protector for when you are working on your Zed's engine bay? I've seen them in the past for one wing, but was wondering if anyone made a full one piece unit? One that would be a soft padded material on the inside, with a durable outter material.

I've just fitted a new set of 18" Armano Dunamis. I really like the style and the finish. (Dont know the correct term for the finish, Black chrome?) BUT, i'm not too sure they suit a black car. I reckon they would look the nuts on a silver Zed!! What do you guys reckon? Do they look good? Anyhoos, i'm not totally convinced at the mo so if anyone is interested in a swap or buying them then let me know. (wheels only) Apologies for the pic quality, its a bit dark and wet up ere. All that speckly stuff is just water. (Sideways300, you have email  )
