Newbies - let yourselves be known

Hi I've joined the forum as an old aquaintance has offered me his m reg 300zx non turbo for £1500. Its a dark green targa top with 90 oddk miles on it and mot till next June It appeals to me slightly due to the price and I have an urgent need for a car that will fit my 3 yr old daughter in the back and my 6 yr old son in the front. I've had GTR33's, Supra TT,s and numerous 200sx'x ( was actually going to get another) but have since been a bit shorter of cash so I now have a mk1 mx5!! :wack: I'm going to have a trawl around and see if this is the car for me and I'll post questions I have in the appropriate section cheers :)

hi guys! well i finally bit the bullet n got rid of the 206 for a zed, having probs already which ill put in the help n advice section ina bit but generally very pleased with her. shes an 89 jap tt auto, full bodykit, some engine dress up bits, samcos, alloys. few things i wanna do to her after i sort her out mechanically! oh n if there are any members around the carmathen area in south wales feel free to join me at our local car meet (gtectuning.co.uk) every 1st sunday of the month, n pass on some wisdom to myself! lol! well i look forward to chatting to u all and possibly meeting some of you! as i said im not new to the modifying or power car world …

Morning all, just joined up, as I'm toying with getting a Z. Having driven Imprezas for the last few years, I fancy a change for something a bit more comfortable. Hi, I've been a member for quite a while but not posted much. Finally got myself a Z32:dance: It's a '90 J-spec TT auto LWB (I think!) Car is pretty standard except for 17" OZ Racing alloys, Blitz induction, JWT chip running 14psi and a SS exhaust which I don't know the make of yet. I'm a member of the Vectra forum VVOC as I also own a Vectra 2.5V6 GSi which I'm quite familiar with but the Z is a very different beast and one that i've wanted since they first came out. I am not new to nissans as I also have a 200sx s13 currently running 300 odd bhp :) and have my own unit I work from. So hi and I hope all is well with everyone on here:)

Hey Hey Folks New to the scene, and am hoping to pick up my first 300zx this weekend, actually looking for some info on them. What power is the 300zx TT anual putting out? Is there an LSD in them and how tail happy do they get? The fella im getting the car off says it has an uprated ECU (dunno what make if any) Stage 2 PTU?? Dual air intakes, dump valve (i know no power upgrade and a full exhaust system. Oh also he said a new EFI Loom?? What would these mos do for the power and can anyone shed light on any of these mods as to what they are and do?? especially the efi loom and the stage 2 PTU. Hello and thanks people!

Hi, Finaly been given the go ahead by the better half to buy a 300zx :bow: I am going to look at a white 96p plate import tomorrow morning and take it for a test drive :nana2::dance: will let you know how I get on (thanks for the buyer guide).

hello there im quite a virgin to 300s iv loved them since i was a boy and iv got one the twin turbo look after very well all iv got is a up rated air filter dump valves and its chiped bovs are not fitted yet . its an auto dont know what the bovs will sound like but i would like some info to get a manual box fitted and a ss system:dance:

Hello ladies and gents. I've just started to look for a really nice swb, or possibly a convertible, preferably largely unmodified if such a one still exists. It seemed to me to make far more sense to come in amongst all of you who know what they're talking about, rather than take my chances with flea-bay! Hello all! My name is Oli, from Manchester and I currently have 2 cars.. A Renault 5 Campus (GT Turbo lookalike) and a Renault 5 GT Turbo that is in the bodyshop having full a respray. I'm 19, and I am planning to buy a 300zx some time in the not too distant future (Just need to save some pennies :D) to replace my GT Turbo lookalike. Do we have any other 19 year olds? I did a search and saw a member who is 17 with a 300zx.. £5k insurance :shock:. I was quoted £2.5K at 19, but I'm thinking I'll probably get one when I'm 20.. about 5 months - Who knows.. just poped along to say hi. i have had two 300zx,s in the past.last one was about 4 years ago.had to get rid of it ....lack of room. over the last few years i have had a number of jap cars.GTO and two skylines.at this time i have a 400+bhp supra.its a weekend toy and dont get to use it as mutch as i would like. its time for a change and i am back in the hunt for a 300zxtt.
