Newbies - let yourselves be known

Hi there, I thought that I'd register with the 'site, as I'm talking myself into buying my first 300Zx. I'm a mature driver and want to own one of these beasts before I become too old and decrepit :eek: I've driven various Nissans over the past sixteen years, Primeras, Almeras, a QX and very briefly a 200Zx. I work in the Motor Trade and have spent at least twelve years dealing with Nissans. Anyway - the idea is to buy a 300Zx, turbo model, automatic, leather interior with all the toys. Hopefully you'll be able to advise me and maybe point me in the right direction in the near future. I look forward to the experience. Regards - Andy

hi, im thinking about getting myself a 300zx as a everyday car and was just after some information about them. as my dayly drive to work is all motorway what type of mpg can i see from the auto non turbo? im not worryed about fuel when i put my foot down but as i will mostly be doing motorway miles i wont be seeing much speed over 70. also for good mpg am i better off going for the auto? there seems to be more for sale than the manal, i did read that the ealy autos are naff, again as i wont be driving hard should i worry about this? can i pick up a ok model for under £1000? i understand i wont get a great condtion one for that type of money but like everyon…

Hi All I'm John. I don't have a Z yet, I expect to buy my first one sometime around my birthday in March next year. Too much paying out until after Chrismas. I went to RAF Marham yesterday for a track day but was disappointed not to see any 300's. Still had fun though, my friend has a GTO twin-turbo and I gave it a few good runs around the runways. Certainly plan to be in a Z next time! Look forward to joining in the conversations on here. Cheers John

some of you may remember me from a few months back saying about how excited i was about buying a z32, but then i done something very silly...... i bought an s13 i havnt been on this forum since! until my s13 went bang i finally seen the light and thought enough is enough i bought me one yesterday, which im overjoyed with and scared shitless off at the same time! i hope you can all accept me back into your community after my stupidity:dance:

Hi All, Im totaly new to the 300zx, i got my baby yesterday & im still getting used to her. My wife loves it. We had a calibra for 5 years but sold it a few months back& bought a 2001 vectra sri 150 but, i didnt like it at all. We saw our zx in a local garage that supply jap imports & we fell in love with her.bye bye vectra lol, Theres a few things here& there i want to sort with her so hopefully the 300zx community can give me some advise???? Hows things.. I currently own a Mitsi Evo 1 thats up for sale, was maybe looking at a UK TT so thought id join up here and take a look. Hello I have just purchased myself a 300zx twin turbo and i am over the moon with it:). It is a 1993 jap import. So i was wondering how to obtain a manual to know my way around the engine and inside as all the labels under the hood are in japenese:headvswal New to this forum aswell so any information as in to work my way around it let me know.

Hi guys new to 300's, bought the missus a 300zx TT auto below which i think has an autobox problem, best way i can describe the problem is like a slipping clutch on the motorway will be checking it at the weekend anyway for now heres some pics of her 300 and a cheeky one of my own skyline

Hi, i'm James and I drive an S14a, not sure how you 300 owners look upon 200's but thought I would come check out this site and learn a bit about 300's :hyper: A few pics of my s14a I also have an S13 I call the "slag" that I use for auto testing :D The S14 I bought mapped at 1 bar and 262bhp, and the 13 has been abused from day one and ahs never run right :smash:

Afternoon all. Currently a scoob driver and it's up for sale. been offered an h plate 300zx tt auto in part ex. always fancied one but had a few q's before i say yay or nay. what's it likely to be worth? looks like met black with the high level rear spoiler. standard wheels that have been body coloured, clear lenses on the front. that's all i can tell from the pic. assuming ave miles and condition as i've not looked at it yet. what should i look out for problem wise? what's the servicing intervals and how much are they to service? although i was thinking about having it for a a while and then selling on, whats the mpg like? i average about 14mpg …

Not quite a new Zed as Ive had it since April just not had a chance to take pics and then post them, basically i can be a lazy ass! its a manual TT Lwb with leather sitting on some 19's, im the first owner in UK :D its done just over 65,000 its nice its blue and i love it :rofl: Went out to Dean (Dean300zx) to pick up some gauges that i bought from him, he said ive got adjustable suspension front and rear and adjustable camber arms, thanks Dean! This prob explains why it handles so well for such a heavy car, I just lurve going around roundabouts in it! Lol as far as i can see it is box standard apart from grooved disk brakes at the front and an airfil…

yeah hi all bin out of the nissan world since sold my 280zx about 4 yrs ago had a few bmw's since and coupe of others have been looking for a fairlady for some time now just a na model though finally found a nice 91 2+2 on a j plate good history and seems in good nick was impoerted in o3 but is tottaly standard at the mo rest assured i will put some pics up and do plan to do some mods but prob get evrtything checked out first any one no of any good mechanics in cheshire lol?:rofl:
