Hey all, Im currently 20 and when i turn 21 in december was looking to get a 300zx :p Always loved them and want a bit more horsepower then i have now in my Impreza Sport. Jusat wondering if there is any tips on what to look for or anything i might need to be looking out for. Ill keep looking through this forum to see whats what. Hi all just a hello I really need advice looking for a zx but don't really know a lot about them. I used to own a mk3 supra but had to sell it due to money problems. Scouring some ads again as I have been for years now and ZX's seem to vary quite a lot in terms of prices. Traders seem to be offering some models cheap and again so do Private owners....and then again similar age/spec models are being sold for much greater amounts by both parties again. Of course I'm aware it maybe down to quality/service history etc etc etc......it's just setting a bench mark for a decent model which is the key thing to me. I've been into Jap cars for a long time now and have owned many models across the range but quite fancy a ZX tt now. hi all i hope you dont get angry when i say i dont own a 300zx yet but trust me as soon as im back offshore its on my shopping list im here mainly to gather info what to look out for when buying one and the best way i could think of about doin that is by joinin a forum full of guys who do own them a bit about myself im alex im 26 i live in aberdeen i have a nissan primera gt in nordic blue (as rare as you get) im goin offshore in august after being off sick since october thats me oh and btw im 6ft 8 am i gonna struggle in one?

I have had my first 300zx for two months now and in this time i have been trying to get hold of an original 300zx rear spoiler and cant get one from any where other than nissan and at 500 quid a time its a bit steep, dose any one have one for sale, or know anyone that has, this is doing my head in. I can find loads of them on the US e-bay web site but i cant get them to ship it over here. CAN ANY ONE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello all . Nice to be here , i've been into jap cars for years i've own 3 R32skylines GTS , GTS-T and GTS4 , R32 best looking of all skylines. Mitsibushi Evolution 1 GSR , Scooby wagon (crap lol) and a N/A Mitsibushi GTO. i wouldn't own a MK4 N/A Supra as i think they are so over-price and slow. Now i'm looking to buy a 300zx but i know nothing about them apart you need to up-grade the oil cooler on a auto transmisson , if thats true . I've joined here to get a bit more knowledge before i buy, So i 'm say sorry for all the stupid questions now lol. Thanks for reading. Mark

Hi guys i dont own a 300 yet but im looking into buying one seems like a cheap choice for some uber power with out breaking the bank, but the question is do i get the turb or none turb ? I dont know a lot about this car but after doing some reading seem its prolly best to get a 1994+ modle.. Any tips advice would be cool plz Cheers :hyper:

I really love the 300zx tt and want to get one in the next few months,but not sure where the best place to look is .Previously i have had 2 subaru impreza turbos both with 300 bhp, but want to try something different sky lines are two to the penny ,200 is nothing special but the 300zx just looks so sleeeeeek and beautiful i want one...... i want a standard one in a 1 condition so i can tinker with it my self. all advice would be greatfully received thanks peeps

Just thought I would say hi as a new joiner, I currently run a modified 200sx s14a, and a 2.2 vtec JDM prelude, but am considering changing the 200 for a manual TT 300zx.. wondered if anyone had comparisons / advice on what to look for on 300's? Many thanks in advance.. Si

hi all my name is geoff i am a new proud owner of a zx tt, it was given to me from friend of the fam, the head gasget had gone and he couldnt be bothered to get it fix so he gave it to me, i was just going to get it fix and use it, the fella that has took it to do the work use to build engiens for f1 honda so he knows a thing or two, any way it went from just getting fix to then upgrading it to 340 bhp and now on its way to 500-600 bhp when its finished, im in need of some new parts { intercooler, oil cooler, fastflow rad exc exc, there is plenty on ebay but would rather get it all from one suplier does anyone know a good one , geoff

Hi all Only recently got my Z its a N/A 2+2 1990 in black had some mods to it already, needs a couple of things done to get on road like tyres only the 2 other than that just sort stereo wiring as all opposite +/- to the speakers cant wait to have it done whoop whoop Nate

hi, i'm new got hold of a 300zx, it has a couple of problems not too sure if they are related or not so advice would be good :) got it washed and polished today, so here are some nice shiney pics :D looks VERY good for 17 yr old paint i think: thoughts and opinions please guys? i'm new to 300zx's need to know good and bad about this, spec: lightened flywheel, cometic head gaskets, lightened overdrive, stage 3 chip, 2up boost controler, shift light, exedy clutch, KYB G20 rear shocks, big break conversion, Tomie inlet cams, highflow air filter, twin BOVs, lightened crank pully, Borla Exh…
