Newbies - let yourselves be known

Hi, just got myself a 'bargain' Z32 from ebay. yup, I'm a mug, I know, but it only cost me a grand for a stock '93 UK TT. and now I have ideas as to why - lots and lots of rust. and a load of other stuff that I'll have to sort out.:cry: Total noob question for starters: is the boost supposed to stay constant, or is it meant to drop back? I've been driving the zed a bit carefully until I get its full measure (and know nothing is likely to drop off, explode or otherwise scare the shit out of me!), so I haven't really opened it up for long, but what I see is that the boost will hit round about 10psi, then drop back to zero and below as I reach "cough" 70mph on …

Hello. I was lucky to get the car and lucky to have had someone reverse into my drivers door and lucky to spin and only bend a wheel and smack the tail aft of filler cap. Guess I'm not alone.

hey guys im an sx owner and im after some standard 300zx alloys as they are wider arent they than the jap versions and wider than the standard 200sx alloys. cheers.

Thought I would just say hi, as I was a member on here about a yr and half ago. I sold my last '91 TT Import and regretted it ever since! So now I have my Scooby as my family car and my new '90 TT Import as my weekend car. It's recently had a full 7k engine re-build done by Zetec, but it's smoking badly out of the right-hand side exhaust pipe, so got a few probs to sort out before I come to any meetings or shows in it.

Hi all, im new, well sort of! I been on here a while but been saving my pennies to finally buy one of my many dream cars! I do have one question though, as i have found a Z that im hopefully purchasing this week, whats the cheapest qoute a 20 year old male with 2 years no claims and 2 years driving experience look to pay? The lowest i could find is £1400, which i think is reasonable, but was just wondering if anyone knows of any cheaper prices? Great forum by the way, been on here a while, just never had a Z!:D

Hello people, just bought a 300zxTT and thought i'd better become a member as i am sure i will need you guys soon. I live in Wirral, Merseyside. Married, im a mechanic and have a untreatable adiction to engines. I have built kitcars, classics, bikes, own tools ect.. Anything i can work on really. Hello everyone, Just recently bought my first zed and cant believe I waited so long to get one. My brother has had it for the previous 4 and a half years in which it has been mainly garaged and has done around 2k miles in that time. Being a nice brother he agreed to sell it to me for next to nothing, great bargain especially considering it has only just got over 50k on it. Considering it has just been sat still for 6 months it had attracted its fair share of dirt, after a mammoth 7 hour cleaning session this is what she turned out like More pics can be seen here too My Cleaning Day

My name is Baz and I'm from Lincoln... Recently bought my 3rd 300zx TT, this one is a bit of a project that cost me very little but I'm determined to get sorted, turned around and back on the road, and hopefully one that will stand out. My first Z was a UK manual TT, then I had a black import TT manual Z after that, now belongs to Z32: now I have another import manual TT, but its a bit of a meccano kit at the mo. Does anyone know the car? got an interesting plate on: She's a bit rough round the edges but will be going for paint soon... pulled the old knackered engine out on saturday afternoon so just gathering parts to drop…

Hi all , just thought id come and say hello . as a member of a number of owners clubs ( mazda , toyota etc ) i think its time to go back to nissan . il be selling up my MR2 GT . ive owned 100NX 200sx and a 1988 300ZX (Z31 ) single turbo , and i am eagerly awaiting collection of my new (1991) jap spec SWB TT manual 300zx :)))))))))) no doubt il be bothering you all with the silliest and probably asked 1000 times before type of questions , but had a look around and looks like a great forum . her is a pic of my old girls , and will post new as soon as she arrives from japan ! .
