Hi all, so I've had my tt for a few weeks, fixing stuff as I go, the conzult interface arrived this week, so plumbed in and I have two codes, the knock sensor so that explains the over fueling (hope so) and 54 Circuit from AT transmission..... Urghhhh? She's deffo a manual When I bought her the hpi said 5 speed manual, the v5 does not state either. So could it have been converted from auto to manual at some point, keeping the auto ecu but then how does hpi know its a manual and the dvla doesn't? Or has the manual ecu failed and been swapped for a auto? I've read that auto turbos are different, and the radiator cowl, as it happens I don't have a radiator cowl, I'm sure there are other differences, is there a definitive way to tell if she came out of the factory as an auto , and what issues may I get or look out for if she has been converted? I want one big time, I've been on to z1 and they are very helpful at telling me they can't ship the big bits of the kit, but I can have the nose cone, ace, I'm currently considering ordering the lot, flying out , rent a van and take the lot to the freight guys myself. I'm sure its gonna be Megga expensive. I've just got the wife to ask the twinz directly on Facebook if there is anywhere else on earth I can buy this kit and if possible even direct off them. If anyone has anymore Info or shipping companies they have used please let me know. My Zed needs paint I don't wa. A dont want to do it without this kit, luckily I've got a loads of issues to sort out so no rush!

Blummin hell, that's massive, I couldn't feel where is connected to at the flap side, seems to be quite far after the flap and mechanism, so I need one these, wanted section for me :-) Thanks again

Thanks Jeff I'm in now, superstar, odd thing it looks as if the flap cable loops back to the boot release , so do I only need to replace the section from the boot release to the lever? Thanks so much

Hi guys, just started to get to grips with my project, first thing get some fuel in it and let it run, problem is that the fuel flap won't open, the cable is snapped at the lever end, so it's gonna need a new cable a rethreading, but in the mean time canthe flap be opened from inside the boot? Thanks in advance

So this arrived late last night, v5 says black, looks very dark grey to me, some history, got a missfire, previous owner started some welding, hasn't had a service for many many years , so it's full service , all fluids, cambelt , fresh fuel , see if that sorts the missfire, if not investigate that and a touch of welding for not...... , Got 2 keys one for the doors one for the ignition!!!! Neither open the boot or glove box, crack in the rear bumper, I'm sure the list is endless, but its what I wanted , UK TT manual :-). Anyone got a full lock set?

Well done Benny-Joe, I was talking to the seller he wouldn't give me the reg or the chassis number, said 3500 and never replied to any of my questions, so I'm glad it's turned out well :thumbup:

That would be great buddy, eBay seems to be full of bellends, that black one I was after , the guy said it was 3500 but wouldn't send me the reg, the blue one at 3950 , the guy won't reply to any questions, so a real sale would be great

HI bigh, the real Carlos Sainz come up for sale that little its hard to judge the value, I didn't pay slot for mine, it had been sat in barn for 2 years , it had been tracked and not looked after by the previous owner , but luckily the owner before him is the unofficial Carlos Sainz owners club President and all round guru, I joined the Celica owners club and he got in touch right away, he's been a massive help, he has about 5 CS's he's constantly looking to reserect as many as he can. Also luckily one of the main GT4 restoerers is just down the road and a double good guy - MK automotive. She's took a good few £££ to sort all the problems , especially the rust , and I don't wanna add it all up. But only 400 CS came to the UK , and that alone should sure up the values at some point. She's no garage queen and rough and ready , but finally she is getting used more and once the ksport 8 pots and 18's are on , she'll be a daily driver , kinda . Whens she's finished I'll get some pics up, Also I've thrown a bid in the silver 300zx tt on ebay , seems to have had a lot of engine work , I dont like the wheels.or the spoiler , but it's local ish and manual. And I know it's a daft idea and gonna cost a fortune but I desperately want to build a wide body twinz , can't stop looking at em. I can imagine importing the kit is horrendously expensive. But man alive I think it looks cool. .
