I have been on the dog and bone with zed world. They advised me that there are a few people putting Chevy V8's the 5 and 5.7 engines in there cars. This has got me thinking about NOS and should I spend more money on a NA or should I just scrap the engine and go for a new heart transplant. I can easily get ahold of a vette 5.7 tpi engine and 6 speed gearbox. Being in american car clubs for a long while (and being american) but in brittian. I feel that this is a good option. What do you lot think?

Took my car last friday for its cam belt to be done. just drove my car for the first time since it was done.. and it is pissing out antifreeze and the oil pressure is only opperating on a quarter. when itle its at 0. dont know what the FFFFFFFFF but I am really peed off. Trying to take the day off of work and go to them. already called them and there quote.... we cant pick up the car till thursday... i then said ... i use it as a daily driver give me a hired car then.... they cant... and wont. i am not a happy bunny.... not to mention when they dropped off the car on friday they were only making me hang around for a hour extra. this is highly unexceptable. i am really unhappy. :headvswal

(taking night course) because I am fed up paying large amounts of my hard earned money for people to do good jobs. crap jobs. and well no job at all. So I volunteered to do my wifes VW beetle in a pink colour. Problem is ... it is dark purple at the moment with pink highlights all over. I feel sooooo gay. Hold on... I have a apexi filter as well. My car sucks up water than a granny sucking a egg when it rains. I am going to scrap it and get a cone filter... there is a protective case around it.. and it should keep a power at a constant. also rain comes down from my bonnet right on to it. I had this problem before and you lot helped out alot. so now passing on my knowledge. or trying.. and yes you can oil apexi filters.. use the K&N stuff. its great for that... keeps dust and crap out.

I would buy the engine as it is.. and then get it restored. hmmm

I know there very keen to show off. I called them about a week ago to price us them doing mine... they state they can tune it to all heck.. but ALOT of work is needed..... and alot of money... :( anyway will have the zen centre do alot for me soon but gotta start somewhere... cause i cant pay all at once.. awwwww. the things i could do if they had it race prepped.

I have to say ,, I am really glad your ok. being a biker as well and also a paramedic I wont laugh at all. I would have laughed if you dumped it standing up and still... but this.. I am glad your ok. the bike can always be mended. where the heck do you sell them... i have been looking on your website and typed in hub. boss, 300 etc.. and cant find it anywhere... please enlighten me.... others as well. unless i am being really thick.... which could always happen. lol

I know thats easy enough... however whilst there I wanted the timming belt doing.. the oil changing (again easy) and a coolant flush out (again easy.) but the timming belt is the one I wont touch... so full tune up.. lol

hmm. ok but that will be part of a tune up.. so must get it done. anyone know of a garage... hmmm lol thanks.

:headvswal I went back home to the usa... and was only gone 1 and abit weeks.... anyway. came back and fired the beast up strait away... and let it run for about 5 min. then yesterday.... tryed to start it up... wouldnt start.. was cranking over for about 10 min and periodocally tryed to fire but wouldnt.... finally it started and ran rough for nearly 1 hour..... I drove it and all seems ok now.. but I kinda got worried as these engines are a nightmere.. I didnt even know where to start..... hmmm I think I need someone to do a tune up for me.... anyone in north yorkshire near hull grimsby area... that knows what to do? thanks. :bow:

Owned a 911 roadster... it was crap... excuse my language there but honestly no chick cred at all. they thought you just had a small (HUJDKJD) lol anyway zed has more pulling power.. slower from 0-60 from my roadster.. but who cares.

Overhaulin is good... dont get me wrong.. USA version of pimp my ride is better... my opinion.. UK version is crap!!!! Tim Westwood was probably only chosen for the closeness in his name... West coast - West wood... hmmmm. see.... he trys to be gangster.. but is a poser! sorry... OG here!!! anyway Xibit is great... he makes me laugh my head off..... he is a real OG.. not about wanna be tough guy.. just a real dude... However on another note.... overhaulin is great because as stated.... no one knows whats happening to there car.... ie it was towed away.. stolen .... etc... its funny as hell..... and the stuff they do to the cars.. OMG.. complete rebuild and restoration.... I would still want WCC to pimp my ride... but minus any type of fireplaces or sinks in my car... lol they can spend that money on my engine!!! PMSL... anyway..... good thread...
