  1. These clocks were never in my car Ali, and my car has had no power in it since 2009, I'm simply preparing parts to switch into the car as soon as it's out of the garage and running. Isn't it better to know everything is working, before putting them all back together and fitting them to the car only to find out the bulbs were in the wrong way or a connection was faulty:thumbup1: It's all about the preparation:biggrin:
  2. The camera doesn't catch how red the needles are, but trust me they're a dark deep red:thumbup: This is as close as I could get.. Big thanks to Andy (Phutumsch) for recommending them to me and advising on fitting issues:thumbup:
  3. Thanks guys, called in a buddy who's a telecom engineer:biggrin: et voila!!
  4. Thanks Si, although a lot of it is from the last 10 months, it's altogether in one spot now, so is easier to keep updated. Hopefully it will be up to the same high standard as Dougal's, Lee's and the other great builds that have been thoroughly enjoyable to read:thumbup:
  5. Dibs on your ariel setup, if you're letting it go:whistling::w00t:
  6. I like the dial surrounds Si, it breaks up all the black and looks spot on.
  7. right guys, I'm after fitting LED's into my dash clocks, How do I go about testing them without having to plug them into the car?? I have a 12v transformer / charger for charging airsoft batteries etc, would this work and if so what do I need to do?? Thanks
  8. Ha!! Did you two not read the first sentence of my post... I named it to mostly annoy everyone on here:tt2::tt2::thumbup:
  9. These are seats I already own Ali, I don't want to buy any more, I'll use either the original's, Koenig's or Sparco's, and get them Mondo'd up:thumbup:
  10. Once she's running reliably, I'll take a spin up to Belfast for a weekend buddy:pint::pint:
  11. I've gotten LED's like Phutumsch's for my dash, these look really well, especially with the polished clock rings. I do like the silver dials also, I even have spare UK clocks to put them on, so I could switch them around when I fancied a change, but at the end of the day I'm trying to raise money for the engine transplant, bodywork / painting bits and getting the rest of my parts sorted.:thumbup1:
  12. Brand new Greddy Profec B Spec 2 Boost Controller Polished aluminium clock rings fitted today
  13. My newly cut titanium key and accompanying key rings, compliments of Ian:thumbup1: Carmad Fog light ducts, thanks to Dave:thumbup1: Momo Race going to Mondo for a retrim:thumbup1: I got some new Allen head bolts to replace the rusty ones today, don't know if they're going to suit it though
  14. That's the other option, the Koenig's are being stitched like the SVT's with the 1" ribs down the centre and a small bit of grey carbon highlighting around the bottom and side bolsters, gave them to him in October '13!!! Sometimes I think I'm too soft:innocent:
  15. Should be sorted now guys, thanks for the "Heads up"
  16. It's bloody cool, you'd want to have a few million in the bank though
  17. Some people haven't seen my posts in " What did you do to your Z today" Ali. I stated at the beginning of this thread that a lot of it had been covered already, this thread just condenses it into its own area and I can move on and update it from here.:thumbup1:
  18. Right, I've two sets of front seats, opinions please.. Koenig's Or Sparco Milano's Or originals, they've all to be retrimmed, looking at a couple of designs Needless to say, colour schemes have to be looked at also, maybe black / dark grey, all black with highlighted stitching, black / cream, black / blue, red etc. My Koniegs have been at a retrimmers over here for over two years, paid for and all, they were to go in the pickup and were being done in black and grey carbon similar to Farrow's only the grey accents were just at the sides and I was having 1" ribbing in the centre, they might look well in the Z ( if they're ever finished )
  19. There's nothing really new to report but I'll keep updating this thread as I find stuff, thanks guys:thumbup1:
  20. Thanks for that Graham:thumbup1:, I was in the middle of doing them on the iPhone when Lee beat me to it:thumbup: Cheers Lee:biggrin:

I know it's not as tidy as some posts (attachments instead of pics) but I've just spent 3 hours sorting out this much.. ie. 10 years of Zedding in a few paragraphs. if anyone can change the attachments to pics feel free to do so. Thanks for looking and to be continued:thumbup: Rich
