  1. Nice to see a bit of progress Ted. The hour is up!! What you doing next??
  2. I'm in the process of ordering a Plenum, 2 x throttle body gaskets and an IACV gasket for when my plenum is finished, is there anything else I need??
  3. Thanks for the help guys
  4. Graham, I've ordered a "300ZX Z Centre Turbo/Plenum Bypass Silicone Water Hose Kit", is this the same as a throttle body bypass?? Thanks.. Richie
  5. Think you could be right on that one!! Too many bits and pieces to lose!!
  6. Where do you get your Brembo parts ?? from Brembo direct or retailer? Sorry for all the questions but as funds are now running low, I've to be careful in deciding "what I need" over "what I want". Thanks
  7. I've GTR's on the front already, that's why I was asking if it's worth swappig them out for a full Evo setup front and rear. Are the Evo rears a straight swap? The €1000 wouldn't include pads or discs, it would be just to replace all the missing components from the calipers. I would then have to buy 350mm Evo 10 discs and a mounting bracket. My thoughts were sell the GTR fronts including discs and this might cover 50-60% of doing the Evo setup?? What do you think?
  8. Cool! Thanks for that. Do you think I should powdercoat the throttles or leave well enough alone??
  9. Thanks for the info Si, do the rear calipers fit straight on or do I need adapters ?? Are you running 350z discs or Evos? Where did you buy all the Brembo components from? Thanks
  10. Sorry to hear that Trish, I hope your dads ok and makes a speedy recovery.
  11. I'll ask him, he was kind of looking after me though, he might be pissed if I pass them on to someone else. I won't be talking to him till next Friday or Saturday. Have you got spare internals for these that you would sell on?? I couldn't justify spending close to €1000 for these fully rebuilt.
  12. Thanks for the pics Terry, that looks really well! did you powdercoat your throttle bodies and water pipes in silver or have them polished??
  13. You learn something new everyday on here!
  14. Some savage pics there Jay. Good to see some nice looking Z's in the South!!
  15. This country really is a rip off!! They are always out to screw us!
  16. Yeah, i've heard of lads taxing zx's, 350z's, GTO's etc. as commercials. I also heard that the Guards/Customs were pulling on the M7/M9 motorways a couple of weeks ago checking commercially taxed vehicles were being used in the correct manner:thumbdown::scared::thumbdown:
  17. Any pics of the car all shiny and any of the car show Jay? I'm working all weekend:thumbdown:
  18. That's a nice looking car.:thumbup1:
  19. I've a lot more bolts per rim and think the black wouldn't look right mate, The black really suits your wheels as you only have 20 bolts per rim, I have 40 bolts per rim which would look weird in black but good in chrome or gold:yes:
  20. You get them fitted yet Si???
  21. That's a fabulous finish mate!! Well done, can't wait to get the Z running!!
  22. Thanks for that Si, I knew you were the man to talk to !! That comes in a £520 plus the price of the calipers!!! So basically, they're not worth getting!! That's all I wanted to know mate.
  23. Ha! I'm thinking Gold bolts like originally done with stainless in the centres, as they'll blend in with the polished metal of the centres:yes:
