  1. Thanks for the details.. and you’ve got me thinking now. I’ve assumed that the z32 that I got the brake setup from had stock z32 hubs. I guess if the kit came from another Nissan model, they may have swapped the hubs for the kit to work. Now I’m wondering if R33/R34 front hubs fit a z32?
  2. Hi Richard, thanks for your reply. You’ve confirmed what I thought, I can find no indication anywhere that the spacing of the caliper relative to the hub was ever changed so I’m really stumped!
  3. Hello all, looking for some help.. I have a big brake kit that came off of an Auto TT and I’ve gone to fit it on another car and the caliper bolts to the brackets are not in the right location. they are offset by about 10mm inboard, so was wondering if there was subtle changes to mounting position between turbo/non turbo or a model year change? From memory, the hubs on my car are from a non-turbo. Nothing I can find indicates anything different other than potentially the calipers to account for the diameter of the disc. Not the mounting holes. Any help greatly appreciated

To fit LWB, mates with OE turbo downpipes vis three bolt flanges. 2.5" diameter throughout In good condition with no major damage, there are some marks/scratches on the tailpipes that may polish out. I've tried to capture these in the photos. I don't know the brand unfortunately, but it's well made. Collection from Leamington Spa, or I can deliver for 25p per mile within a reasonable distance of Warwickshire due to size.

  11. I think you need to do more than that, have a look at this link.. further down the page in the section "Clearing Codes" 300ZX ECU diagnostics
  12. Apologies if you’ve tried this already, but have you tried an ECU reset? You need to do it on the Z32 if you make any modifications.
  13. Hmm.. ok. Well if you’ve got a new MAF on the way you can eliminate that. My next move would be the O2 sensors if you haven’t already.
  14. Have you tried unplugging the MAF with the engine running? It can be difficult starting them without it plugged in from what I recall. Were the four leaks you’ve fixed all easy to find / get at? As you might find there’s more in more obscure places.
  15. As a quick check, you should be able to unplug the MAF and run it on the base map to rule out if it’s causing the issue. As mentioned above, it’s quite possibly an air leak. The small hoses around the engine bay, on the sides of the head etc are classic for perishing and developing tiny splits.
  16. Thanks gents, Naz, I’ve put an ad in the classifieds parts for sale section with a couple of pics. I was sold on the Z32 the first time I test drove one, was a lightly tuned TT and it was like a ballistic missile!
  17. Hi Everyone, Just a quick intro, I have some history with the Z32 having spent a fair bit of time working on them in the past, helping friends source them and also upgrading my 200SX S13 with numerous donor parts. I've recently acquired a written off LWB Auto that I'm breaking, I'm taking the brakes for my car and there are a lot of bits I wont need for myself so hopefully they can find their way to members cars! Longer term I hope to find a clean manual SWB TT but currently I'm having enough fun with the S13! Cheers Tom
