blew quite a bitta smoke out on boost. Got beeped by another car, lol. Took the pipe right out, 6 inch long piece of black rubber. Whats the bit inside, is that the actuall PCV valve? Lots of oil in that pipe, cleaned it all out and loctited it back in. All seems ok now, yay. Cheap fix luckily, dont need no more 4 figure jobs!!!

Ill go out now for a little blast. Cheers bud. Let you know what shes like when I get back.

Would this cause bad tick over? Ticking over much nicer now. Could have been off for ages. Also, just reved her up and loadsa oil out exhausts? could this be part of that too?

After my little event the other day and a huge plume of smoke out the back, I have found this pipe off... What does it do, pushed it back in now. Thanks Mark

Money, whats that, lol. I thought it may be the dipstick, it happened before, but Ryan fitted a better fitting one to it when I had my lasts problems. There is oil all around the battery and that general area, so I am hoping its that. Just gotta find some time to look at her now....

I wasnt booting it, just driving normal. Had gone round a roundabout a couple of times just before, not high revs though. Just seeing what she holds like round there compared to my old car. Wouldnt have thought this would cause a problem, like all the oil pushed to the left side?

Tons of smoke out the back all of a sudden, no warning. Pulled over. Real bad burning oil smoke coming out from under battery. Looked like was ready to ignite. Looks like an oil pipe has given way slightly and spewed oil around, no major oil pressure loose or anything, so hopefully nothing major. Did have a couple of small leaks, so hope its one of them just got bigger. Thought Id be better off getting towed home rather than risk driving it and causing more damaged. Oh well.... wont be driving her for a bit now, gotta get her up in the air and see whats going on. Glad I joined the RAC. lol

Im waiting to get my coolant temp gauge going before I add mine so I can see if it actually makes a difference.

Got mine off ebay. £6.50 plus £2 p&p Pretty cheap I thought.
