Mine is solid but rather heavy. Thought it would be lighter. It can be a bit notchy at times but never had it crunch.

Been through manual, cant see where it says dont use 5.1?? Just says use DOT 3

I just put non silicone based 5.1 in cause it said it was for cars with ABS. All works ok.
