  1. Only dripping coming in to the car seems to be from the pillar in the picture. Both sides. What's the damage for a set of rubbers?
  2. So seemingly out of the blue both sides of my zed seem to be letting water in from the roof which is dripping directly onto both from seats. I discovered this over the weekend after deciding to go for a nice drive out with the Mrs, everything was going swimmingly up until I departed the car to get a Subyway lunch and noticed my arse was sodding wet. It's not a fun experience lining up for a couple of footlongs with noticeable wet stains on the back of your keks. After returning home and inspecting my girlfriends bum I can confirm it's both sides leaking. Anyway - this is what it looks like from the inside (the car that is) https://imgur.com/a/FUhSlIC I would appreciate any advice on whats failing on the car to cause this and how to fix it or at least slow it down. thanks.
  3. All for it, vBulletin is super dated
  4. Powerzed or Outlaw Customs. Powerzed is the only place I know of with nothing but shining reviews though.
  5. One on my work keyboard and the bigger version in the car park https://imgur.com/a/w4kuN0m Keyboard looks gross in that pic
  6. Awesome video, thanks for the link! I actually really like the re-design I'm afraid to say, the front lights and ducktail spoiler would make an awesome addition to the classic look. Overall not as sleek and sexy as the classic zed but I think it's a really good design overall.
  7. I've got a single exit HKS Super Drager on the way and I'm currently rocking some dual 3.5" pipes. I'll try and get a before and after for the sound and post it up, could be interesting. As for looks, the single exit will look awful with the OEM rear where as the dual looks awesome. I'll just need to change the rear bumper and it should look good single too.
  8. This threads reminded me I need to resub, will get to it end of the month! Anyway, I would consider myself sort of on the young side of the age scale with being 28. I am am member of here and also various zed related Facebook groups and the main differences I find is that the Facebook format is much more user friendly when browsing a page, threads are instantly available with pictures as soon as you reach the page and the marketplace is much more used due to the no listing or subscription fees attached. I browse this place often, but my post count is pretty low, reasons being for this I'm not very technically accomplished so can't really offer any advice or help on threads. There is no way to fix this really, I'm the same on Facebook, some people just browse and that'll always be the way. Personally to improve this place I'd get rid of the "What did you do to your zed" thread again as it's just too long to browse and keep up with. Make new threads for this stuff, will make site searching much easier too. Is there any sort of format change that could happen? Or is a forum basically always this layout? The main advantage this place has over Facebook is the tech help and specialists who hang out here, great community too, even the drama is great. Facebook is simply more convenient and easy to browse, way more drama too (not good in this case).
  9. Unsure of the ATF brand, one I had available. Wasn't Dexron though. I thought ATF was all generally the same.
  10. Hi Guys, I might have an issue so just after some pointers really, I seem to have an intermittent issue with the power steering. Some mornings it won't kick in for the first couple of minutes of driving and the last week or so I've noticed a slight whine on wheel turn. This afternoon I checked the level which was a little on the low side so topped it up and gave it a little drive around the carpark, the whine was still there but the steering felt fine. Are there any common issues with the power steering? Or anybody have any ideas what could be causing this? Thanks for the help again!
  11. Hi Guys, I attended this event last year and it was great and I did have my name down for this year but unfortunately due to money circumstances (them being, I cant even afford a full tank of fuel right now) I'm sadly not going to be able to make it. Hope you all have a great day and I'm sorry for the let down!
  12. Threads like this inspire me, some absolute mint looking zeds in the group.
  13. thank you ! I got quoted 300-400 by a local place so will get it booked in. Will be daily driving mine over this winter so wanting it done asap.
  14. Looks nice, welcome to the club. Do you mind me asking how much the underseal cost? I'm looking for a place to get it done at the moment but don't know the going price for it really.
  15. Had nothing but positive experiences from Mike at Outlaw Customs so don't think it's fair to say there is only one good mechanic.
  16. Will come down and likely end up doing the same as Tom, was brilliant fun last year. 1. Craig - 3 nights Friday to Monday 2. Joel - 3 nights Friday to Monday 3. t.mogsy - 1 night (kings head hotel) Saturday to Sunday 4. Devvny - Most likely 1 night (at Kings head) Saturday/Sunday
  17. I had this when mine was an auto, local garage cleaned out the throttle body for me and never had it happen again.
  18. Such a good picture.

  20. I'll hopefully be going! Down to Doncaster Friday/Saturday for the manual conversion along with some other work so hopefully i'll be up and running for Sunday. I think a few of my friends are wanting to go along too. Mazda 6 MPS and Evo6.
  21. Tom! I seen this thread pretty late. You can't sell her after all you've done to her she's one of the nicest zeds I've seen. Besides that who will I go see for advice on things! I mean you could still come to meets etc in the SWB but you'll fall behind on the convoy
  22. Would solar units even work when we have no sun?
  23. I had no idea this wouldn't work with a flat battery. Would getting a jump start and going for a drive be the smart thing to do before hooking up to charge?
  24. Came to start my zed after sitting for around 3 weeks and sadly the battery is completely flat. The car is no longer my daily or kept where I live so I don't get a chance to start and drive it as often as I should however I have a manual conversion booked for next Friday and will be driving a few hundred miles to get there so was thinking the best solution may be just disconnect the battery and have it hooked up to a trickle charger? I was looking at this as I can't really spare much cash at the moment: https://www.eurocarparts.com/ecp/p/car-accessories/winter-essentials/winter-maintenance/battery-chargers/?549778951&0&cc5_145 Would this do the job? Alternatively, is there anything else you would recommend doing?
  25. Hi Animato and welcome to the forums! Can I ask why you wanted an original instead of the replica for the spoiler?
