  1. Jimmer is brilliant! I wouldn’t let anyone else near my Z. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Hi All, Ive decided to sell my Slicktop Auto with 20,000ks on the clock. All Jevic approved etc. Ive spent a small fortune on it keeping it original and as per Jap Spec. I originally was going to run it for a year and start building a fast drift machine etc. But from the advice of various members and also Jimmer saying its a rare original solid car, it would be a shame to start systematically pulling it apart etc. So with that in mind I have decided to sell this one to fund a more ratty modest car that will not be so sacrilegious to do what I want to do. I have the car sorted, I just need the funds from my slick to start buying the bits and embarking on my build, hence the sale of mine. The car is based in Portsmouth and has been garaged in its entire time with me and only comes out on sunny days for the odd dry jolly and another layer of wax etc. Please see a list of jobs below:- All new tyres New Brakes and pads Various rubber replacement due to persihing Full services. Cam Belt Full check over by Jimmer with a clean bill of health after the below jobs. Rear gearbox seal replaced with genuine Nissan parts Window runner replaced. Brakes checked out. New Nissan Boot spoiler from Ash at Nissan. Full boot respray and Spoiler install with rear wiper delete. Arch liners dropped and pipework removed for full under seal. Front bumper respray to make centre match. Rear bumper respray to tidy up some blemishes Full detail, mop etc. Complete car Fireball ceramic coating. No expense has been spared on this car from myself and various members can vouch for its authenticity. Full History, documents and receipts. Im asking for £8000, but open to offers as I want to get my winter project underway asap. So hit me with an offer if youre interested. I brought a high level spoiler and decided against it, so that will be thrown it too, and I also have the wiper etc. I have popped in a few pics of the various jobs done over the past year or so. More pics available on request and many thanks for looking. smitsil@yahoo.com 07917 791 915 https://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C1029905[/size]

  6. Hi All, My Zed has decided to start cutting out randomly at while in Neutral or Park. Also when I select drive, the revs dip and occasionally it cuts out. So i decided to let it tick over and roughly every 30 seconds or so, the revs climb slightly then go a little erratic and then the engine stops. Has anyone seen this before? Cheers all. Hope youre all enjoying the sun! Dave
  7. Really?! Ok, will do that. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  19. Hi, not going to paint it as I’ve got an original Nissan one on order I’m picking up next week. Mines only done 12,000 Miles and think it best to keep it pretty standard. Well except the massive 19s I’m slapping on next week. But I’m keeping the originals, so that doesn’t count ;) The spoiler is for sale if you fancy it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. I’ve changed my mind after gaffer taping it onto the boot lid. Anyone need a big fat spoiler? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Will text. Thanks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. I called Ash a few times and he said it came in last December, but he hasn’t got back to me for months. Have texted him a few times, but he says he’s not been active in the forum. I’d prefer the original, but have brought a plastic high level one as it’s the best I could find as I was worried about the boot lid rotting from advice at meets. Thankfully the lid is fine, so just need to tidy it up with either another hens tooth swb spoiler or fit the plastic one and fill the holes with a panel. Thanks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Have found it. Small stream of water at the top of the engine to the rear. Heater feed has a tiny stream of water coming from it. Thanks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Hi All, I’ve just found my leak I posted the other day and now moved on to removal of the original spoiler as I fancy something a bit more tasty. So I’ve got the old spoiler off which was a bit of a faff, but managed to get it off clean and the metal is all solid thankfully as I was worried that the spoiler was like a wet sponge for 20 years. Now I have it off I’m faced with a few holes and a large recess I’m not sure what to do with. Can anyone point me in the right direction to smooth off the lip at the edge of the boot and fill the hole with say a centre brake lamp or some kind of facia I can buy. I did buy an original spoiler off of Ash, but he’s gone a bit quiet. Many thanks for looking and any advice given. Cheers. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. Found the leak. It’s a small pipe running parallel to the bulkhead that has a small stream that is dripping down the bell housing and along the exhaust tunnel and ends up dripping down the outside of the air con condenser pipe! Talk about a red herring pipe!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
