NCT passed (MOT)
This is my last Emissions chart from a couple of months ago. I can see your HC limit is a little more strict than over here @ 750ppm rather than our 1200ppm. http://myweb.tiscali.co.uk/lcridford/mot_emissions_2007.htm

The film was shelved years ago (2003) due to legal issues. Thank god, I say.

Driving Atitudes
Saw a couple of Z's today driving through Cambridgeshire which is a bit unusual, but it got me thinking. What sort of reaction do you get when you put your hand up to another Z driver (when you're in your Z obviously)? So far, i've been blanked and i've even had one guy stick his fingers up! :xxx:

Mario
And this guy doing a super mario speed run. It'd take me 5 minutes just to do the first level.

Japanese Auto Extravaganza
This'll be my first year of going to JAE and i'm really looking forward to it as i missed the last two years. EOE showground isn't far from me either. I know that it starts on Friday the 20th, but does anything actually happen on that day or is it just pitching tents, setting up and stuff? I got sent a EOE showground flyer and it shows JAE being on the saturday and sunday only! Cheers.

I'm 27 with a wife and mortgage. I haven't got in to the modding thing so only have to pay for the fuel i use. Its an NA and hasn't had any problems since i got it and i only use it on sunny days like the last week or so. For the rest of the year i use a second car. If I had kids then maybe it'd be a different story, but now i've got the car that i wanted, i won't be giving it up easily. If I couldn't afford to run/maintain it, i'd put it in storage.

Red Z in Willingham
Got detoured through Willingham 'cause on an accident at about 4.30 this afternoon. Low and behold, saw a standard looking red Z on a private plate.

Cnut Chavs Scum
There's been a bit of that happening round my way. Fights, vandelism etc. My car has been Keyed 8 times since christmas and my neighbours cars have been done as well. The police were informed at the time yet the trouble continues. Even the policeman that took statements and photo evidence from the residents said to not expect much of an outcome due to the age of the kids doing the damage. Everyone wants to go and teach the kids a lesson but it'll change nothing, maybe make the problem worse. It makes my blood boil. The kids need to be sent on national service as do their parents as well. Unfortunately i'm now in discussions to move house, but who's to say i won't get the same problems where i move to. This stuff seems to be happening everywhere. I need a more positive outlook on living in the UK, but its difficult when this crap happens every other week.

What is your 2nd car?
1991 Corolla Executive and 1999 Celica SR. I've had the Corolla for 8 years and it hasn't broken down in that time! No other car i've had matches that for reliabilty. The Z was my first step in to rear wheel drive. What an eye opener.

MOT Today
Just like to say i'm pretty chuffed today as the Z passed it's MOT today with no problems at all. Had an advisory for all 4 tyres (whoops :( ) as they were just above legal limit but all else was cool. I do have a question about my emissions though. On my print-out it says my CO level was 0.00 and my HC level was 16! I done a search on the forum and this seems stupidly low. I haven't done the 'trick' with the fuel damper either (although i was ready, just in case). Here's a copy of the printout: http://myweb.tiscali.co.uk/lcridford/mot_emissions_2007.htm Could this be the cleanest Z around? :hyper: Either that or the guy in the MOT station had the probe in the wrong place!

ps3 lol this will make your day haha lol
PC's are great as all rounders and high end gaming (the sky's the limit if you have the cash) but half the point of a console is cheap 'plug and go' gaming. No installations, no driver / display setups, no OS crashes from microshaft etc. For the price of one 8800gtx, you could get a 360 and a couple of games. PC's are still far better for online gaming and MMORPG's though, and are FAR better for graphics if you can afford it. At the end of the day, PC's do their thing and Consoles do their thing. About the ps3 thing, all the game shops round here have posters in the window saying how many ps3's they've got left. Compare that to the Wii, you still can't get them in many shops. Just goes to show that graphics / power ain't everything.
