  1. Hopefully not, that clashes with the AGM in Coventry Transport museum! :p
  2. I should’ve voted for Friday to Sunday! ?
  3. This one is quite unique as it’s a Strosek kit with a TwinZ diffuser grafted in. This one was originally owned by the club member “Gruntpa64”, who eventually sold it to another member. It’s moved on again since but I’m not sure if the current owner is a club member?
  4. I’ll book once the poll results are in so I know whether I have a +1 [emoji106]
  5. Urgh, my red looks ‘orrible on that card! I think Howard’s OEM is more likely to be AJ4 than AG2. Look forward to reading the build thread Howard, another mighty beast of a car!
  6. ~cough~#A54*~cough•
  7. Mars is good but my favourite piece from The Planets has to be Jupiter, the bringer of jollity. [emoji106]
  8. Happy New Year all [emoji41]
  9. My wife is up for joining me with the northern meet so I’ll go for a 2 person room depending on dates. How soon can these be confirmed? My wife is working Friday 25th and so she wouldn’t be able to make that one, but the Saturday to Monday combo works. Maybe a new thread could be started specifically for this event?
  10. I’ve been tempted by those Federal RSR myself in the past, Jayden. I know they’re not renowned for being a premium brand manufacturer but when pitted head to head against any premium brand road summer tyre, they would annihilate them in the dry! Obviously wet grip would have a reverse effect, although it’s good to hear they aren’t too bad. I’d imagine in standing water, you could find yourself sailing quite easily when the road tyres would still have plenty of grip. They also fall short in the wear rate category against a road tyre but it depends how you use the car. I don’t use mine enough to be too concerned about wear rates so if a tyre offers more grip on a dry sunny day (the majority of my journeys), then what’s not to like about them? [emoji106]
  11. You can’t go wrong with a set of Eagle F1’s, they’re very good tyres.
  12. Here’s a quick attempt on my phone! All guesswork on the sizing and I guess they may be slightly larger than 18”? I just stretched the size of the wheels so the PCD would have also increased making it even more inaccurate but you get the idea. I also added a cheeky bit subtle drop to the suspension as it needed it!
  13. OEM wheels in 18” would be very cool, the ultimate OEM+ upgrade! [emoji41]
  14. It has snowed here but it’s too wet for it to settle for any length of time. Any excuse to share a picture though(!)... this was a couple of weeks ago with the Z losing its snow virginity after almost 12 years of being in the country!
  15. From ‘95(ish) onwards, the moustache was dropped and the front bumper was colour coded from build. Cost cutting?
  16. Hold on, you’re selling your car? [emoji15]
  17. We do like a bit of moustaction. Moustache-action!
  18. Blow dry I hope Gary? Oh and I hope the paint wasn’t in direct sunlight during the wash procedure? [emoji28]
  19. That’s an easy question to answer!
  20. Happy Holidays Y’all [emoji482]
  21. Surely a bubbling spoiler is repairable? I work with a lot of composite materials that have similar properties with water ingress, when they’re breached the area has to be fully dried and the area resealed. With the spoiler removed, store in a dry area for a few days and maybe use heat lamps on the offending areas. Once dry, treat the metallic structure to some corrosion conversion/prevention and let it dwell for as long as required, then seal around those studs that let the moisture in (like Nissan should have done from the factory!). Just a thought.
  22. Give us a list of cars you thought of for us to review for you. Obviously they will be completely impartial and non-biased reviews!
  23. Very popular on the NSX, I think it lends itself well to the wedge shape, bringing balance to the car’s dimensions. You could argue that the Z offers the same characteristics but I can’t help but think the 2+0 isn’t quite long enough to pull it off. One of the Aus (I think) club members has done it using original wheels from a 350z that had 18s on the front and 19s on the back, but it was a 2+2.
