  6. indeed, it wasnt something we wanted to do tbh but i had to follow the work :( very good thankyou, hows you? gettin my wheels refurbed soon... wohoo!
  7. didnt realise he was so close... thanks pete, il give him a ring :)
  8. spend 12k on a zed and youll never see your money again... spend 12k on a cossie and in years to come youll have yourself a collectors item, more of an investment. my advise... keep the zed as it is and buy a cossie then you have the best of both worlds... if in the future you decide you dont like the cosworth as much as the zed you can sell it and maybe even make money, similarly if it matches up to your expectations you can sell the zed. the beauty of the car you have chosen is that you can buy 1 to try it out and as long as you have no major problems you can sell it and get your money back, do it the other way round and youve thrown away 12k!
  9. lol, now that im all the way up here though its gonna take forever to get the old girl down to paul at swz for the tub change :( just booked her in for the sill repair and all the niggly bits of rust to be removed then she gets a fresh coat of paint  the earliest slot i could get is june though so itll be her summer treat! still looking for a decent wheel refurbisher that can make an oval wheel round! not using it everyday anymore so shes alot happier when i take her out for a blast :)

    lol nice! :D
  15. radial mount basically means that the caliper is bolted to the hub radially instead of the standard perpendicular (90˚ to the face of the disc) mounting style. i dont think it has any performance enhancing properties as such but it is supposed to stop the calipers from flexing as much which would make the initial bite better.
