  5. thats some serious poundage for a seat... you could fully retrim your whole interior for the cost of 1!
  6. yes, fits with room to spare... ish ;)
  7. dave made it himself :) i also made mine myself but i used a larger screen... it looks very similar to dubloves in this pic... a very tidy look and still looks nice and stock. the carputer route can work out very expensive if you do not already have amps etc (or even if you do :()so its not really an ideal solution to the 'what shall i fill my bottom din slot' question...
  8. mine has now been fabricated to house an 8" widescreen monitor for my carputer setup, which is no help what-so-ever... however, before that i had this bit of kit from the z-centre to house some of my full dakota digital gauges setup... the plate is cnc machined and the cutout finish is great, it slots in leaving an excellent finish. a relatively inexpensive addon! before i fitted the aftermarket gauges, i had this little number to hold your glasses etc. you can also buy a blanking plate for it. decisions decisions...
  9. cheerz for the advice chaps... iv gone for the rps clutch and flywheel :)
  10. i got lucky... J30LY P ;)
  11. lol, i watched it all the way through and found myself nodding to the beat towards the end :wack:
  12. you got your car back yet mush?
  13. the zed needs a new clutch so i thought id change the flywheel while im there to get it out of the way... as they are so highly spoken of i was always set that i would buy the rps street clutch with the rps flywheel... however, whilst browsing the z1 webby for other clutch and flywheels i noticed this z1 clutch and flywheel combo. it claims to be better than its rps rival whilst maintaining a lighter pedal and its cheaper. my question is, does any1 have any experience with these clutch/flywheels and can any1 offer any advice as to whether they really are a 'better buy' all round than the rps versions. fair enough the are cheaper and supposedly better but will a downside to this mean that it doesnt last as long etc... any advice welcomed. cheerZ peeps...
  14. google it chap... there is lots of competition out there for cherished registrations. heres an example of the top of the google search unless your reg is extremely valuable and you want peanuts for it they will very rarely buy the plate off you outright. they will give you a value to which you would have to agree to, they then advertise on their website and any other media they use, if some1 buys it, you get paid! it could be months or years, bear in mind the 120 quid retention fee, PER YEAR if you chose to put another reg on before hand! then again, you could always advertise it with it still being registered to your car, thatll be free then so youd have nothing to lose buy them advertising it. any compay that i have used do not charge you until the sale is made :) HTH
  15. get it valued bud... if by keep it you mean remove it from the car but put it on a retention certificate then it will cost about £120 quid a year to do so :)
  16. it has clips, screws and glue! there is a write up on here sumwhere... do a quick search. as for the finish, it will be bad and it will have a fair few holes :)
  17. find yourself a car thats nice and clean, reasonable mileage, runs well with good compression and 100% on the conzult check, send me the service history book and il make it have a full service history!
  18. idd, it looks gash! but it has potential...
