  4. this is where my thoughts are heading! butt out you... its your bloody project that kick started my thought train! stuff the kids, they can walk... hold on a mo... i dont have kids WOHOOO! swb it is!
  5. i agree to an extent... i understand people who think the swb looks too short.. but i think its mainly lwb owners that are used to seeing it like that... i personally think the lwb looks too long! so for me a compromise is to buy a real one ;)
  6. i wanted a swb when i bought this 1... but er in doors managed to convince me that it would be better to buy a lwb so we could fit the dog in if we went to meets etc... (just her con as she prefers the lwb) but now weve got 2 dogs theres no chance lol! mine is indeed a tidy example and now that jimmer has emptied my wallet it has a bloody good engine... but if im gonna carry on spending i may aswell get something i really want, what i really want, zig a zig-aaaah?
  7. i take it the 16miles from my postcode is wrong? :o must be 16miles from your postcode but it confused the autotrader search! deffo remember seeing it... maybe why i didnt follow it up.. too far away. looks like a top buy, has it got wood trim?
  8. i was gonna go and have a look at that 1! its only round the corner from me!
  9. I WANT A SWB! i darent say anything to the mrs as iv already caned over 10k on my RED () family wagon since around this time last year so i think she will slash my throat, prize my finger nails off with a bottle opener and feed my nuts to the dogs :( convince me that im chatting sh!t and that the grass isnt greener on the other side! i cant help but think the swb is a 'proper' zed and if i end up spending £££ on a colour change repaint on my estate model i might live to regret it?
  10. lol only the reflection of mine in the window! BUMP people.. come along and join us... i think i found us a nice pub which is even closer than the last 1... which was close! :wack:
  11. nothing special matey... just a replacement for the scooby
  12. mark... any idea how the 'purolator' brand came out in tests? its what oilman from opie oils manages to sell me with a sales pitch that it is the brand used as oe bmw's (iirc) and such like...
  13. thats a very nice car chap... been looking at a few of those myself... put up some more piccies, whats the spec and what did you part for it if you dont mind me being so damn in your face, nose to nose, interferring, complete basket case rude?
  14. Are there any willing volunteers with a wee bit of time spare to have a quick butchers at a car for me? No test drive required or owt, just a quick look at the exterior for general cosmetic condition... i drove a fair few miles to see one the other day that a dealer advertised as mint but when i arrived it looked like it had been dragged through a thornbush then into a cement mixer and tossed into a smoothy maker for a final serving! The dealer address is in Swaythling SQ16 3BJ... if any1 is nearby and can help, please let me know and i will pm the details
  15. beejeezus paul... you just made my spam look pathetic!
  16. have a look again chap... on mine the 'monotype corsiva' font is mingled in with the 'C's for some reason.. below 'corbel' and above 'courier' HTH
  17. :hyper::smash: very much to my tastes so far tbh... iv been hassling the mrs for a shortie for some time coz of the development of this beast!
  18. il let you know when my 56k gearbox is no longer hanging on by a thread and a get a decent one fitted... unfortunately my engine and gearbox warranty didnt cover my gearbox failing so il have to wait till i get some readies together!
