pilots could have been obsolete a while ago now... they are only really there because no **** would fly on an aircraft with no pilot LOL :rofl: though they do come in handy when things go wrong!

I assume by the threads i see rising about regional photos for next years calendar that they want one for every region?.. so comon then you lot, what we gonna lay up fot it? A chance/excuse for a nice big get together and show off the cars of our region... any ideas or suggestions for this? I know a professional photographer that will prolly be more than willing to take a few snaps if its local ;) though im fairly central to the region anyway... ish! :wack: lets fill the se region section of the 09 calendar with something interesting... ooh maybe we could all get in my hangar behind a couple of boeing business jets!... lol.. if you mean the rudder... it is bolted at each hinge point, though as its then all composite, the hinges are essentially glued on yes.. (depending on the aircraft of course) on a 787... im pretty sure eveything is glued, it has very little metal, even the floor beams are carbon fibre. its a bit like a lotus elise of the skies!

if you do it... i will stab you with a reasonably blunt, but not particularly well used, 'Chubb' door key!

well played bud... keep at it and make sure you have a laugh too ;) i managed to swindle a CAA approved advanced composite repair course not so long ago, as always they expected me to hit the ground running and i now keep getting stupidly complex repair schemes for down times of 20+ hours and get around 8 hours to do it :smw: still good to get another trade under my belt... looks like its gonna be big too... the new 787 is pretty much 90+% carbon fibre... the fuselage is made from carbon fibre ffs! imagine a skin repair on that from an over zealous service truck!

if you do decide to rebuild the calipers the standard zed rebuild kits best price is biggred... 30 quid for the fronts and 19 for the rears... top quality gear aswell, i always use them.

good job matey... maybe you should swap them for my r33 brembos? those db9 ones will be better suited to my tt :tongue: muhahaha ;)
