lol i posted here about 5 posts ago! sorry bud they are sold... however... jeff @ zedworld has a few in stock i believe. once you get subbed you can put an items wanted thread up and youll have an abundance of offers ;) btw.. i personally prefer the hard plastic mudflaps that are less intrusive if the lines as apposed to the rubber jobbies. though if you paint them the same colour as the car they tend to look ok.

we took our 2 golden retrievers to a dog show last year... it was advertised around a local village and we thought it was just a village thing for fun... turned out it was a national kennelclub jobbie. we bagged a 4th which was a massive suprise considering the standard of behavior from the other dogs compared to ours... since then iv said i will never go to another dog show... the way these people were treating their dogs were absolutely appauling... they werent pets, just trophies. i remember 1 woman with a golden retriever shouting at her dog because it didnt finish in a place, she said to me as she was leaving 'this one is past it now im gonna get rid of it'. they were all a bunch of stuck up, toffee nose tw@s and were really bitchy to each other. maybe we just had a bad experience but nevertheless.. congrats to your daughter for showing them how its done.

iv heard a rumour that renewal will be free this year for all usernames beginning with 'J'... :dance:

it is a simple vacuum/boost gauge... if its to the left of zero (centre) the engine is in vacuum (turbos just windmilling with the inlet)... if its to the right of the zero then the turbos are boosting (forced induction). i dont fully understand what you are asking but if your gauge doesnt seem to be reading right.. it may not be a massive problem as they are renoun for it. get an aftermarket boost gauge of some sort to be sure...

iv painted many calipers in hammerite... does the job a treat :)

datascan or steves conzult will give you a fault code if something is amiss... though for an accurate boost reading you need an accurate boost gauge. the ecu does not have any input from the boost sensor since it doesnt require it.

i think the general consensus would be that they are ok for street use to give you that little extra performance... but for track use (or if you use the streets like a track :rofl:) then you need to think of more serious upgrades. im sure dan will confirm his take on the subject as a trader though.

a pure carbon fibre one wouldn't be very good for that application but the frp shown in the pic is kevlar. kevlar has massive impact resistance properties so is suitable in that respect... but is very costly! these would be very easy to make out of ally... i considered making some out of 2024 t3 alclad that we have an abundance of @ work but i couldnt be assed! stainless is prolly the ideal choice but is a nightmare to work with (in comparison to ally) and is alot heavier...
